Why is battery temperature low in warm weather?

Past few days in 70-80 degree weather, when I have been driving, alert pops up staying “low battery temperature” and when going to a supercharger, I receive “Charging rate limited by low battery temperature.”

I understand this would be normal in winter months and cold temperatures, but given it is summer, and it’s been 70-80 degrees, I don’t understand why this is coming up.

I could not find any threads or related issues about cold battery temperature in summer months/warm temperatures.

Any info?

Sounds like maybe some cooling loop is stuck n keeps cooling the battery..
Are u using the AC in the cabin?
Does it happen if the climate is off?

Using AC in the cabin, but only while driving. And will investigate when climate is off.

Yeah, sounds like a cooling/heating loop valve is stuck. I would ask Tesla to diagnose.
