Window Alignment/B Pillar

Hi All
Newbie here - been searching but cant find similar.

Bought the car 2nd hand about 2 months ago and noticed this issue on pickup which i was told was just needing realigned.
Been into SC 3 times and they have replaced door seals etc and even a separate door assembly and issue remains - they are now leaning towards it having damage/accident on the b-pillar at some point in its life.
Anyone had similar to these (photos attached) and what was the cause/result.
Seems to be ok in the rain but car wash etc is an absolute no go.

Is there a service similar to CarFax or AutoCheck in the UK where you could find the car's accident history, if any?

Also, could the window regulator be defective? Does the window seem "loose" when gently wiggling it with the window up and the door open?
Hi Nick

thanks for the reply - appreciate it.

ill take a look to see if i can find something but i doubt we can unless it was deemed "totalled" by the insurance companies.

the SC did replace the regulator and they have also said they tried a new door assembly which includes a window and the issue remained which they are saying completely rules out the door/glass/regulator etc.
since the last SC visit however, i can push the gap in by hand slightly whereas before it felt very solid. i seen a video on here about adjusting the track - i think i am going to give that a go - but i would think the SC would have tried this and again doesnt fit in with the new door assy they tried either

Small Update - As per SC instructions took car to a body shop today - they said doesnt look to be any damage.
however, over the weekend i had a little play about and found the following - so any help would be greatly appreciated...
The first 2 images are me aligning a card similar thickness to the window glass and seeing the alignment of the seal groove - and its a good bit out.
the 2nd image is with the door handle still unlatched and at this point the glass alignment looks good but the top of the window seal is sticking out...
the 3rd image is the same card trick at the passenger side and its slides in without any issues at all.
the 4th image i have pushed the glass inwards and it does find the groove but it also looks to be pulling at the upper seal and it will pop out at any moment.

Please if anyone can offer advice or have had similar it would be greatly appreciated.

Well, it's hard to tell just from some images, but it looks like your frameless glass is misaligned. If a glass shop can't adjust it, I'd look at youtube vids on doing it yourself.
Hi Ken - thanks for the reply.

the SC has claimed it has changed out a new door assy (incl) glass so can comfortably rule this out.
I tried massaging the primary seal yesterday and got an improvement although can still see clear day light.
I can force the glass into the groove and it will hold & seal. so i still think its around the seal area

Took some more images today of what i believe the issue to be - ive requested another service showing this information - the shape of the seal in image 1 (one with arrow) looks very deformed and the area that seems to be sticking out is very solid and not easily moved. compare to image 2 which is the passenger side looks a lot more seamless.

Further update - from another site.
I took the seal off in that area to inspect the metal below and realised the seal wasnt seated well in this area and now looks better (in my opinion) but the issue remains.

This time as i closed the door i kept my hand on the window and applied the smallest force onto it and it sealed perfectly.
trying to get another SC appointment but just feel i need them to take a proper look - feel i have done more investigation work than they have - seriously frustrated
