I have very good experiences with them. Some moron five year old was throwing branches at my brand new Porsche and chipped the windshield and the dad was not paying attention. Filled the chip and lasted for a year till I sold the car.

i have not used safelite but another comparable mobile windshield repair specialist that is contracted through most auto insurance companies. he came to the house and filled the small chip so that it doesn't crack (spider legs). the work is guaranteed for life. the chip has to be small (less than a size of a quarter generally) in order to be repaired. best thing is that your policy deductible is waived for chip repairs by most companies
