Won't stop charging app bug

Hi all, my Model S is running 2019.40.2.1 and I know this is a known issue with this release but the car won't stop charging when told to do so via the app, it says it stopped but it doesn't.
Can anyone with later software confirm if Tesla has fixed this? If they have I'll have a whine to the service department to maybe get a newer released pushed to me (yeah I know wishful thinking), but this is a real pain this bug.

I dont understand why you want to stop the charging? Set the limit and leave plugged in as per manual.

Different pricing rates for different times of the day is why. I don't always need to go to 80% charge so if the car is still charging during peak times I'd like to be able to stop it via the app.
