First time poster here, hoping that I'll be in a place to jump into a Model 3 this time next year :) See a lot of wrap options and such for the dashboard, love the customization options with this. One thing I was thinking about, would it be doable to get an artist to do some wood burn designs on the wood dash? I imagine it'd have to be prepped first, remove the finish, do the wood burning, refinish. But also not sure if the amount of wood on the dash is actually thick enough for this to be possible.

Ended up going with a Di-Noc architectural wrap (grey ash).

Took a bit more patience due to thickness but cut pretty easily with heat. Also I struggled with the 3 sided corners til I realized the plastic end caps are removable. Removing those made it wayyy easier and also made the results nearly seamless on the back corners.

I have used Di-Noc several times, love this material. Been using it for years on other projects.

My latest is Matte Obeche, doing the dash tomorrow.Di-Noc is great.
