I have had my PPF installed for about a month now and after the installation, there was some moisture that the installer mentioned would go away within a few weeks. The moisture did go away. However, after I washed my car, the moisture returned in different sections and then went away after a few days. Is this normal?

No - you should not be seeing moisture under the wrap after washing the vehicle.

Agreed - would be pretty tough to do. Moisture getting in somehow from the edges? I hand wash my MSP and the wife's eTron and both are fully wrapped in Xpel Stealth PPF and even with a powerwasher being used to foam and rinse the car, no signs of moisture under the wrap.

If you used a pressure washer and hit the edge of the film, it can get under the film. The shop that installed it should have gone over that with you.

OP didn't mention using a pressure washer. I use a pressure washer and have had NO issues with moisture appearing under my PPF.

Just to echo what others are saying, in my experience with XPEL that should not happen. There might be a couple of very small air bubbles that need to be popped, but never moisture under the wrap.
