YouTube Issue

Hey everyone! Yes I know there are a ton of posts about issues logging in to YouTube accounts with work arounds that are sometimes successful and sometimes are not. I didn’t read those before trying to log in to YouTube because I didn’t know it would be an issue, but my issue is not actually that. In fact, it’s much stupider?

So like many before me I get an error message that I couldn’t be signed in to my YouTube account BUT with that error message, I…. Can’t go back? Yeah, there’s no back button or way to return to the unsigned In main YouTube screen and even attempting to sign in has made the regular ad-filled version of YouTube seemingly unusable.

Anyone have any suggestions here? Sorry if this is a simple solution or has been answered in the sea of login questions and I missed it when searching.

Try this:
There should be a black bar at the top of the screen. Tap it. A back arrow should appear in the top left.

Thanks. I’ve tried this and sometimes the arrow is grey and sometimes it’s white, but neither time does it do anything when I press it.
