I haven’t bought any wheels actually, I still have the original tempest 19 inch wheels on my MS22LR.

I had a similar issue with my July ‘22 build MSLR. A 2nd unlatch press while gently pulling up on the frunk hood allowed it to open. The service center took a look and said that the latch parts were “offset” so they moved the the top and/or bottom pieces to align them and it works fine now.

They found the connector to the wiring harness that has been replaced on the front right strut a few weeks ago wasn’t connected. They simply connected it securely this time, and it worked fine. I haven’t been able to verify, haven’t been in town to pick up my car yet.

I don’t have two pieces, it’s one piece and it doesn’t move up and down much.

I’m not clear what two pieces you are referring to. Here is a photo of the upper side of the shroud if it helps.

The tape is on the underside of the housing so you can’t see it unless your head is in the footwell.
