    Replica wheels for '21-'22 refresh?

I haven’t bought any wheels actually, I still have the original tempest 19 inch wheels on my MS22LR.

Front hood "pops" open but still latched, cannot lift up

I had a similar issue with my July ‘22 build MSLR. A 2nd unlatch press while gently pulling up on the frunk hood allowed it to open. The service center took a look and said that the latch parts were “offset” so they moved the the top and/or bottom pieces to align them and it works fine now.

Where to get replacement tow eye cover

My tow eye cover is missing. Not sure how it came off, but it's definitely gone. My only way to contact Tesla Service is to use the Service module in the phone app, and request an appointment to bring the car into Tesla. I live closest to the Palo Alto, CA service center and they NEVER pick...

    Adaptive Ride Control Disabled

I had this error appear a few days after delivery. On the first trip to the service center, they replaced a wiring harness on the front right strut. The error came back later the same day I picked up the car. On the second visit, they said the connector came loose and reconnected it. A few...

Weird buzzing sound after updating to 2022.24.6 [Fixed in 2022.36.1]

My 2017 S75 had a high pitched whine from the front section as well but it was very feint and it never occurred to me to get it serviced- I assumed it was the coolant pump. My ‘22 MSLR has the high pitched whine but it is louder, although I wouldn’t say it’s too bothersome. It would be nice...

    Adaptive Ride Control Disabled

They found the connector to the wiring harness that has been replaced on the front right strut a few weeks ago wasn’t connected. They simply connected it securely this time, and it worked fine. I haven’t been able to verify, haven’t been in town to pick up my car yet.

    Adaptive Ride Control Disabled

My MSLR ‘22 went in again today for this. Has anyone had a successful repair completed for this issue?

    Wiki Model S Delivery Update

Ok, I poked around and found the seams between the bottom and top pieces. Mine are relatively tight but I can see how those will separate over time. Maybe they should be taped for a short term fix, but Tesla’s going to need to develop a better solution. What a crappy design like it was an...

I don’t have two pieces, it’s one piece and it doesn’t move up and down much.

I’m not clear what two pieces you are referring to. Here is a photo of the upper side of the shroud if it helps.

The tape is on the underside of the housing so you can’t see it unless your head is in the footwell.
