Reactionary in what way? To increase the price further? As in, a Fed tax credit that applies to Tesla vehicles of $7,500 gets passed, Tesla then jacks the price to $87,500 (or $92,500). .

Was very curious about this myself. Are 2021 Model S LRs FINALLY hitting the Tesla showrooms, available for test drives? Inquiring minds want to know. I don’t buy no yoke without driving it first to see how it is. 🚗 .

Yup. And I’m amazed that it hasn’t really hit the stock price yet. After all, this goes to Tesla’s core competency (or lack thereof)... production of EVs. And high-margin, low-volume ones yet. So, can they or can’t they? This does not inspire confidence. 😟 .

To be fair, they first cut the price by $10K to clear out the last of the old Model S Ravens. The later $10K price increase just brought the MS back to par, so to speak. Though, given the large amount of incoming competition, an eventual small long-term price cut for the MS starts to make sense. .

Lucid has apparently delayed its first deliveries to ‘2nd half of 2021’. :( I wish them well, but as Tesla and so many other EV makers have found... this stuff ain’t easy. .

Was that before or after the Model S ate into Porsche’s market share? Seems like Panamera sales dropped once the MS started becoming a thing. ;) .

You’re gonna hate me, but... I like medium cars too. It’s more the particulars of each individual car model that decide it for me. If the 3 had as good a driving position/comfort as the S, and as good exterior styling, then I’d happily go with the 3 (and save myself significant money!). :cool...
