    Bump repair - Edinburgh?

Bother - our M3 came back from a trip to the supermarket. Found a nasty scrape and a bit on a crease in the passenger side rear wheel arch. Anyone got any experience of repairs in the Edinburgh areas? Blue by the way. Thanks

Nearly hit a bus - but the Tesla did nothing

Hmmmm...I certainly was not going fast. Less than 3mph - maybe but very hard to tell. I forgot to download the camera data - maybe it is still there.

Nearly hit a bus - but the Tesla did nothing

So I was turning right at the lights. I was looking for a parking space in the road I was turning into - so I admit it I probably was not paying enough attention. A bus (large green double decker!) came from the straight ahead direction and I turned in front of it. Very close, no collision! my...

    Less updates for older cars?

Thanks for all the replies - I guess that Tesla is listening because as soon as I put the first post in this thread I got an update to 2023.38.6 :) I get that there are things my 'ancient' Tesla can't do compared to newer hardware. But it could still; Give vastly improved wiper control Allow...

    Less updates for older cars?

Is it just me - or has the freqency of software updates reduced. My car is now close to 4 years old. Can't remember having the software updated for some considerable time. So are older cars being abandoned by Tesla?

    [UK specific] Software Update 2023.26

Bejebus....Tesla! Why? A major software update I think NOT. Really I am getting fed up with this. How about Wipers that you can adjust, Cruise Control that actually cruises, A radio display that actually shows what is on the radio. Not to mention things that ALL other cars (even cheap ones) have...

    TESLA Y INSURANCE RECOMMENDS

I would recommend LV. Seems to be very good rates and I found that they are quick to answer the phone.

Musk v Zuckerberg - Punch Up?

I hear there is going to be a punch up between Mr Tesla and Mr Facebook. I wonder if Mr. Facebook could punch Mr. Tesla on the nose to the point that he gives us windscreen wipers that work, or even cruise control without manic windscreen cleaning (to no effect).

Whats your favourite and least favourite supercharger and why?

This one! Can't quite remember but somewhere to the north of Bonn in Germany. 40 plus Tesla Chargers, looked like at least 20 other chargers. Cover was completely full of solar panels. Great organic cafe. If all chargers could be like this! Blue car is mine. Oh - and least favourite! Aviemore...

    Tyre Wear

Seems to be a lot better. done about 3,000 miles since adjustment and tyres appear to be wearing fairly evenly.

    Creaking noise

On my car it turned out that it was the lower ball joints creaking not the usual upper ball joint fault. As the car was out of warranty Tesla charged around £500 to replace the lower joints. Seems to have solved the problem and to be honest I am not unhappy - at nearly 60,000 miles this is the...

Model Y onboard charger Voltage Tolerance?

In the UK, the declared voltage and tolerance for an electricity supply is 230 volts -6%, +10%. This gives an allowed voltage range of 216.2 volts to 253.0 volts. if you are getting consistent voltage outside these limits you need to contact the network operator in your area.
