I believe that Tesla employees were given Friday and Monday off in celebration of the release. So I suspect that those of use that didn't get confirmation emails may have to wait until Tuesday to get an email unless someone comes in on their day off.

I have not driven or ridden in a Tesla before. As a matter of fact, I have never even ridden in a hybrid before.

The article in question said that emplyees may be able to reserve around March 23-25th. I'm not a Tesla employee but my understanding is that the internal email that was distributed said they could reserve as early as this Thursday (March 17).

Has anyone actually asked for the source? IIRC aren't required to freely post it online or anything, but they must respond to requests for the source. Even then, they can still charge for the release of their modified (or unmodified for that matter) source.
