Well, this has happened to my early Model 3, front passenger seat. Two services and they installed a filter, but the alert is still happening, and now they want to charge $2k for front seat replacement. Out of warranty.....

I don't believe Time of day is being used, that would be just dumb. It's a sensor somewhere that's seeing the light. Just need to know where the sensor is and tape over it, as long as that's all it's being used for.

Anyone figure out how to disable the auto-dimming? On the S, I had to put a sticker over a portion of the mirror to block the sensor, but don't know where the sensor is on the Model 3.I dislike auto-dimming mirrors.

Each car has pros and cons for me and I'm comparing an older early 2014 S no AP to a new 3. The S is bigger, more capacity and roomier for 5 adults. I don't think 5 adults can sit in the 3 comfortably, especially since I sit far back as a driver. 4 golf bags vs 2.5 golf bags I actually miss...

I feel like the M3 is significantly louder then my early 2014 S and I had various wind noise issues in the S that were resolved early on. Especially over 55 mph, there's this wind noise that doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere specific.

I feel like the Model 3 navi is more google maps like, as I've seen some weird navigations, but then when I checked my phone to verify, it was the same route. Wondering if this is the new navi system that Elon was talking about.

I actually miss not having a web browser in the Model 3. I used the Tesla Waze web site on the S and realized I can't do that on the 3. I'm finding the 3 noisier then the S when driving. The road noise seems louder or seems to come out more.

Add to the list: trip meter on the 3 is a very poor use of space. The car doesn't remember that I had the setting on the trip meter the last time, so I have to slide to see it from the other 4 screens. Also, I can't see all values at once. Trip A, Trip B, This trip, since last charge, and odometer.

That's a tough one, again my S doesn't have a lot of the bells and whistles so both have pro's and con's. - I like the interior space of the S, but the comfort of the 3 seats. I like the smaller dimension of the 3 for parking. I like the trunk of the S better. So I think it will depend on the...

Guys, do you really think Tesla would force an ugly license plate holder on us if it wasn't required? I'm fairly confident it's removable and the front is smooth when it's not on. Have a little faith in the designers at Tesla.
