Increased Glare with Abstract Ocean Matte Screen Protector

Title says it all. I've been experiencing a dramatic increase of glare on the screen after the install, to the point that I've considered removing it all together. No other issues, I love the silky smooth feel, I love the protection, but the glare is killing it for me. Anyone else?

    Undercarriage plastic ripped off

Looks like it's identical to the RPMTesla, as expected as they are all white labeled products from Chinese factories. Should be a very straightforward install. If you can, throw a picture up of the new panels on top of the plastic one and vice versa so we can see the difference in coverage...

    Undercarriage plastic ripped off

Looks like RPMT claims "9 Pounds for Front and 10 Pounds for rear". Installing them, I'd say that's about on point. They also say "Stock Model 3 OEM fabric weighs 3 to 4 pounds" - I'm assuming this is the weight of the plastic for the front and rear *combined* as I still have mine and they weigh...

    Undercarriage plastic ripped off

Oh vey nice. Did you happen to lay the MPP plate over the stock plastic one to see if they were any difference in size? After looking at photos on MPP's website I can't help but think that my RPM ones cover more of the area, a bit of the control arms if I remember correctly, but I honestly can't...

    Undercarriage plastic ripped off

They do. I have them installed. No photos as it's basically impossible to take photos to show the full scope 2 inches from the surface when under the car on jack stands lol. But they cover the areas the plastic ones did completely. Zero gaps or missing areas. Complete coverage. They may even...

    Undercarriage plastic ripped off

I bought these and threw the plastic ones away. Bolted everything down tight myself. If Tesla service is going to charge you, might want to consider going this route. Weigh the costs and if you can do the job yourself. It really is just getting the car on stands, and then removing a hand...

    2002 MYP- Chill or Sport?

Sport at all times. Just have pedal discipline, you don't have to be mashing on the pedal all the time. Having access to instant light speed torque is a safety thing that I want in my back pocket at all times if needed.

Weak Windshield Wiper Spray - Normal or Service Call?

You guys were spot on. Popped open the panel and there it was. Looks like it was never installed from the factory. Inserted it and zip tied it to ensure it doesn’t get loose. Hopefully my thread and these photos can be helpful to others in the future.

Weak Windshield Wiper Spray - Normal or Service Call?

Thanks for all the recommendations. I’ve been under that panel many times, so I’ll go ahead and get under there and check the lines. Thanks everyone.

Weak Windshield Wiper Spray - Normal or Service Call?

Hey there everyone. I think I may have found the first issue with my otherwise perfect Model Y P. I generally don't often use the windshield wiper sprayer, as it is a huge pet peeve of mine to have a dirty windshield, and regularly clean the windshield at home before taking off, not including...

Have To Share This Genius Product For The Model Y

I have them. They're great. They actually put the rear seatbelts in a location that the rear passengers can actually reach them. I never really noticed or had issues with the clattering of the rear belts, but having the belts accessible to the rear passengers is good. Install couldn't be...

RedwoodMotorsports Ohlins Vs. Unplugged Performance Luxury Vs. Mountain Pass

Just FYI, I have MPP coilovers, and you can have them at stock ride height. If you go for their other springs you can even lift it.

Mountain Pass Comfort Coilovers, + (almost) the full suite of Mountain Pass Suspension Parts, Installed by European Auto Source on a Model Y P

Yes I did. I considered the Redwood Motorsports Ohlins and the Unplugged Performance ones. The main alternative I considered was the mountain pass rear camber arms and traction arms with the Redwood Coilovers, but decided that the Mountain Pass are built with KW dampers, I was happy with the...

Mountain Pass Comfort Coilovers, + (almost) the full suite of Mountain Pass Suspension Parts, Installed by European Auto Source on a Model Y P

I'm sure @tom @ eas wouldn't mind. And I don't mind either. Thanks for developing awesome products, they have transformed the car. And thanks to EAS for the awesome service.

Mountain Pass Comfort Coilovers, + (almost) the full suite of Mountain Pass Suspension Parts, Installed by European Auto Source on a Model Y P

I'll have to find my invoice, but labor was under well under $900 if I recall. Happy to pay for quality service. The parts were the same price as listed on MPP website.

Mountain Pass Comfort Coilovers, + (almost) the full suite of Mountain Pass Suspension Parts, Installed by European Auto Source on a Model Y P

Glad to help! I agree. Now I've got the best of all the worlds. Low unsprung mass, increased efficiency and range, and supreme comfort and handling, in a Model Y P package. I've driven a long range on 19's, and this car now handles and rides dramatically better. I haven't even played with...

Mountain Pass Comfort Coilovers, + (almost) the full suite of Mountain Pass Suspension Parts, Installed by European Auto Source on a Model Y P

Hey everyone. I just had a great experience with European Auto Source doing the install of a bunch of parts from Mountain Pass. I am no way affliated with the company, I just had a stellar experience, and they provided me with these awesome photos from the install. Entire install took about 3-4...

Model Y Performance on TST 19" Wheels from TSportline - Pics Attached

Yes, I've got the 19's set in the computer. I had a brainfart. Trip A is the lifetime which was never reset since I got the car. Trip B is when I stuck on the 19's. Trip B has been of course gradually been pulling down the average wh/mi of Trip A as there's no way to "freeze" it, so...

Model Y Performance on TST 19" Wheels from TSportline - Pics Attached

Still loving it. Average decrease in energy consumption of 15wh/mi, much better ride. The Mountain Pass gear finishes it all of. The car rides as well as my old AMG (to be fair, which it should have done out of the box at the current price point).

Model Y Performance on TST 19" Wheels from TSportline - Pics Attached

So here's some not so thorough but still useful data. Above is after switching to the 19" wheels, below is on the Uberturbines. Obviously the Uberturbines have actually *gained* some wh/mi due to accumulating further data from the 19's, so the Wh/mi is likely a lot less than is shown here...

Once these tires are done, I'm definitely going to grab a set of 275/50/19 (or 45 if 50's aren't available)

Model Y Performance on TST 19" Wheels from TSportline - Pics Attached

Can you define OD? Not sure what you're referring to. Outer diameter maybe? They definitely don't fill the wheel well out as much, but the sidewall is a lot thicker and the ride is greatly improved as a result. I am installing a set of Mountain Pass coilovers, and will be dropping the car by...

RPM Tesla (and probably all the other suppliers) Gutter Guards Review - They Work!

Just a quick review on this modification from RPM Tesla, and likely that can be found from a million other suppliers out there (let's be honest, they're all drop shipping the same stuff from China). They work! Was installing the RPM Tesla Frunk Finishing / Noise Suppression Panel last night...

RedwoodMotorsports Ohlins Vs. Unplugged Performance Luxury Vs. Mountain Pass

Yeah I have. There's a bit of reviews of everything but no overall consensus, probably as these offerings are still relatively new and not a ton of people are doing coilover swaps anyways. Seems from consensus Mountain Pass are best bang for the buck though. Does everything you want it to do...

RedwoodMotorsports Ohlins Vs. Unplugged Performance Luxury Vs. Mountain Pass

Anyone have input on these? Going to go for a set of coilovers to further improve the suspension ride after doing the 19" wheels on my Model Y P. I run Ohlins DFV on my E46 dual duty track/street car and even at low ride heights they are amazing. But I haven't found many reviews on them for...

A Recommendation For Those With (or thinking of buying) A Tesmanian (or other) Sun Shade

Looks like a really nice unit! Might try this one out next summer. For now and for those who already have a Tesla shade or Tesmanian or other carbon copies, this is a great way to improve them.

A Recommendation For Those With (or thinking of buying) A Tesmanian (or other) Sun Shade

Hey all. Just wanted to throw up a tip here. The Tesmanian magnets that are included to prevent the center from sagging are, well, complete and utter useless garbage. They literally are not capable of holding on to each other in the slightest regard. Like I'm not talking a bit weak, maybe if...

Official Tesla Pet Liner - Door Liner Questions

I have the Tesmanian pet liner, and when the Tesla pet liner came back into stock, I decided to grab it to compare the two. The seat liner is actually fantastic, and I'm a big fan. The door liners though, I need some help. I know for a fact I'm doing something wrong here. I stuck the tabs...

Tesmanian Sun Shade - Bit of a review and requesting some feedback and thoughts

Good to know. I'll try removing it and see if that gets rid of the noise completely. Definitely did assume the sound was coming from the liner.

Tesmanian Sun Shade - Bit of a review and requesting some feedback and thoughts

So I installed the Tasmanian Sunshade cover on my MY. Installation was easy enough, except for the fact that they included two magnets, with two sets of adhesive metal parts, but that's it. I feel like I should have received two more magnets so I could use two magnets on the roof, and two to...

Model Y Performance on TST 19" Wheels from TSportline - Pics Attached

Sheesh, they're just wheels! Why did this thread get so nasty? Jeez lol. Anyway here's an updated photo from a broad angle. I love them. The ride 100% is WAY better, no doubt about it now after a few days of driving. It's not even close. And yes, I love the silver. I don't think the wheel...

Model Y Performance on TST 19" Wheels from TSportline - Pics Attached

Personally I love silver wheels and I thought it really broke up the monochromatic color scheme of the car. I was also worried it would make the wheel wells look really empty and weird, but in the flesh they actually look fine to my eyes. Basically a "stealth" P like they used to sell.

Do model Y interiors get this hot in Los Angeles?

It was hot today in SoCal, and decided to try out my Tesmanian roof shade, and it definitely helped quite a bit. Very happy with the product... with the magnets there really isn't much sag. Now to see how it does with windows down...
