Same for me today. Downloading 2022 45.13 aka FSD Beta v11.3.
Same here. I've been downloading 2022.45.13 aka FSD Beta v11.3.4 for hours at ~50kbits/s 😅. Tesla server must be very busy, or using an old dial-up modem haha.
Hi DiamondHeads, did you figure this out ? I just changed my back tires and Autopilot is swerving in straight lanes and hardly keeps the lane on windy roads. Was it an alignment issue ? Thanks
Hi there, I am getting the same issue (swrving a lot) with Autopilot after I changed my back tires with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S last week.
Did you figure out how to fix this issue ? Did you have to do an alignment ? Thanks !
Hi Mike, the front tires have almost 28000 miles. They can probably make another ~5000 miles maybe. So worn out but not to the point that I want to change them yet. But my front tires are like only 3000 miles. Yeah I had to bring it to the Tesla Service center for another message "Camera...
So I changed my rear tires around xmas, but did not change the front ones. Now I'm getting this message: "Uneven tire wear - rear tire tread depth too low". Edit: I would expect "front tire tread depth too low" instead, as they are older...
It seems to me that the same message pops up as soon as...
It's partially true. The Android app has taken a week to be available on Google Play. But it was available on apkmirror (side loading site) the same day as on iOS. Not this time though. Or actually, the 4.2.2 version is available on both platforms, the difference is that they're not having the...
OK, ended up:
1- use a backup passcode to get back to my account
2- Turn off 2FA
3- Turn it back on
All went ok this time (well, last week all was looking good too...).
Was able to add both my phone and my laptop as passcode providers (google authenticator on the phone and Authy on win 10)...
So I did go to the time sync up in the settings of google authenticator, but did not work.
When I set this up last week, I was in a different time zone that I am now. I hope the passcodes get generated based on universal time (not local !). Still, I tried to set my phone back to the time shift I...
Hi,
Sorry if this is a dumb issue, I haven't found neither here or on google someone reporting the same one.
So I setup my account to use 2FA last week, frorm my phone. Installed Google Authenticator app. Worked fine.
Today, I wanted to check my account from my phone's Internet Browser, but...
Guys,
Am I the only one to have Fallout Shelter freeze every 20 minutes and the AC going full speed cold until I reset the MCU ? It's been doing that since 2020.24.6.4.
I suppose the AC craziness is meant to cool down the processor indirectly to get it out of freeze?
Thanks,
Sorry, I disagree with that. Simulations can introduce randomness in such a way that they can cover edge cases. So you can give the simulator a whole bunch of sequences, either written manually or extracted from the real world, and assemble all these sequences in random order, random timings...
As a follow up, was nothing to do with the sensors. It ended up in my case being the rear right blinker not reconnected. Autopilot was canceling lane change because the blinker was not working, but there was no specific message.
As a follow up, in my case it was the rear right lights that the installer forgot to reconnect, so my blinker was not working. That's why autopilot would not change lane to the right. The warning "Lane Departure Avoidance Limited" was not specific and clear enough. Would have been easier to just...
Good morning. The final word came yesterday as I went back to the hitch installer. The issue was not related to the sensors, but to the blinker: the right rear lights had not been connected back. My first impression was that it was smart for AutoPilot to cancel changing lane when the blinker...
I went to Tesla this morning. They told Mr to wait. They'll try an over the air diagnosis... in 2 weeks.
I also came back to the garage. The guy was thinking about taking the bumper or its cover away, but suggested to wait for Tesla's advice.
Same issue here after i got a hitch installed: had to remove the rear bumper, hence disconnect the sensors. For me it's the right lane that the car is avoiding, changing lane to the left works just fine. Not a software problem. Was working perfectly before hitch installed, same software.
I'm having the same issue. Got a hitch installed yesterday. Lane departure avoidance warning constant since. Noticed NoA would not change lane to the right. All sensors look like working when going reverse though. One month delay for appointment with SC...
Thanks Alan, i did set an appointment with my Tesla service center, but have one month of wait time. I tried and went today, hoping they could try an over the air diagnostic. But i was told they'll call me 2 weeks before my appointment, so in 2 weeks from now.
Yeah, i tend to think something...
Thanks Alan, I tried a soft and a hard reset (long press on steering buttons with or without pressing the brake). Did not help.
I believe all sensors are working based on the picture above, but i may be wrong.
Thanks
Thanks Daniel. I have nothing mounted on the hitch. It's actually a "stealth hitch", totally invisible. I'm going to get back the installer. Hopefully they did not break it.
I'm curious to understand which sensor we're talking about here. The back camera works with no issue. Thanks
Edit: i...
Hi Daniel, i just got a (stealth) hitch installed, and am now getting this lane departure warning continuously. I'd be interested to get more info. What's the relation with the hitch ? Any sensor masked by the hitch ? Thanks ! I'd really like to have this back !
Thanks SMAlset,
Yes they are both always turned on, except at home and at work.
Yes, i have an hour or several hours missing here and there.
I agree Sentry turns off when i get into the car, but TeslaCam should continue recording, right ?
Thanks
Hi all,
I know I'm not the first to report issues with sentry. But i have not find any explanation on my problem yet.
Just got a big scratch on the paint. I apparently got keyed... Tried to look at the footages, unfortunately an hour is missing right when i believe it happened.
I noticed...
I'm on hw3 and got the 2019.24 last night.
I noticed the proximity sensor visualization is now using colors, the closer distanc, the closer to orange/red.
Also cars seem to dance less at no or low speed.
Thanks Tam ! I understand your point. I do keep, as you describe, a tactile feedback. However I believe you are talking about small corrections that would not exit autopilot. In fact I never felt i had to do such small corrections, as the system is doing very good most of the time. My concern is...
I'm a newbie, just had my model 3 for 2 weeks. But i noticed the strength with which AP holds the wheel is pretty high, so that taking control over it requires quite some strength, which takes time as one needs to increase his own strength. And when AP kind of gives up, this creates an over...
Guys thanks for your help.
I finally got the HW3, 19" wheels without paying them. I love it (some advertised features missing though, like enhanced summon, but it seems to be general).
Thanks all for your comments !
Yeah i tried maybe 50 times before i could actually do it. Each time i clicked ok to the error message it would reload the same. Only once could i clear the address with the x on the right before it loaded the page. Once done i could get the keyboard to pop up and was able to go to Google. That...
Guys,
Got my model 3 yesterday. Thought i would try www.teslapage.com. Unfortunately i keep looping on the error message: "this page won't work without access to location data".
I can only click ok, and it keeps trying to load the page, hitting the same error message.
I don't know how to...
MXWing, I totally agree with this last statement. But really, I have absolutely no doubt that the FWD is more than i wanted. No way i would regret the AWD
Thanks anyway. What type of wing are you referring to in your pseudo ? I'm a paramotor (ultralight) pilot. Just curious.
Hey Snow Drift, your pseudo matches your comment . Yes we can have snow in Arizona. The AWD is $4000 more expensive and is heavier, hence a shorter range. It's my first EV so range is important to me .
Good to know for the demo car. Anyways even if i wanted i could not buy it, as is not for...
The problem is that the hw2 car with 18" wheels I've been matched with... is not for sale, and had never been. They committed 2 mistakes:
1- change my order (18" to 19") without asking me.
2- matched me with the demo car (18" and hw2) that was not for sale !
They assigned me back to the 19"...
Thanks Knightshade. Cool for the tax credit. I'm worried that they could redefine what FSD means.
Anyway... bad news... the sales person called me today: the 750 miles car... was not for sale ! Has never been, it was a mistake ! So I asked to be rematched with the 19"/hw3 one. They first told...
What if in a year comes a HW4 ? They might say HW3 owners with FSD will get the free upgrade. But what about HW2 owners ? Will they get a free upgrade to HW4 too ? I know, no one knows, but there is a risk here, do you agree ?
