Interesting. The MVPA should also note the lender on line 5D under “Financed Amount”.
Sounds like a SNAFU situation for sure. Say what you will about car dealerships, but I always knew there was an actual finance person there who knew the paperwork and knew what was going on. Let us know what...
I assume you’ve taken delivery already? Check your paperwork and look at the LAW contract/Retail Installment contract. The lender should be called out at the bottom: “Seller assigns its interest in this contract to:”
Whatever you set up for down payment direct for Tesla will not carry over to the bank. To view and change your payment and set up external payment accounts, pay extra, autopay, etc you’ll need to set up an online account with your lender, not through Tesla as they merely facilitate the loan but...
Chemical Guys Total Interior Cleaner. Works in every interior surface of the car including seats, dash, doors, screen, and console. Doesn’t leave sticky or shiny residue. Have used it for years on many cars!
Left one did pop in easier but still had to push on the bottom to make it fit 100%. For the right one, just push the bottom pretty firmly in each corner. Also, going to assume to bought the ones specifically for the 2022-2023 MY
OtriFowd Latest Version 2023 2022 Tesla Model Y Rear Trunk Organizer Storage Boxes with Lids, Side Storage Protector Packets, Storage Bins for Model Y (5-Seater) Interior Accessories https://a.co/d/5YBfJ1Y
Quality is on better than the Tesla ones, cheaper, and actually fit. Purchased for my...
I might not be routing correctly but have tried routing through the front. Looks like you have one cable harness but I have a few. One harness holds the canbus and positive/negative lines and I have a separate camera cable. The connectors may also be causing issues owing to their size.
Need some help. My car has been in my garage for a day and a half for a 1 hour-ish project. I am adding the Hansshow 10.25” display to my dash, a bit for CarPlay but mostly for the front camera feature. Got the unit wired up, everything works great but I am having a real hard time with cable...
Yes, the taxes, fees, etc *are* part of the total purchase price of the car. What’s important though for you is that those amounts are not being financed as you’d like to not pay interest on them. There is no itemization of items for amount financed. Just a dollar amount and you just need to...
So when you up your down payment, the financed amount doesn’t go down? Total Cost of the Vehicle minus your down payment should equal your EST Amount Financed.
Also worth noting, these numbers aren’t necessarily final. When I ordered my MY I switched from Tesla financing to my own 3rd party a...
Not sure why PPF is so expensive in the Seattle area, but that just seems to be the case with most installers charging around $2000+ for a full front kit (wouldn't bother with half hood kits). CarToys I've seen do it cheaper but of the few I've seen, they don't seem to do a great job.
Check...
Looking at LH's website, the p/n and specs seem the same so assume there's no difference, but I don't know for sure.
New price is $325+shipping for each set of 2 or $625 for both.
These were used in my 2016.5 Model S for about a year. I removed them before I sold the car and don't need them anymore. Still in great condition and make a great upgrade to the stock MS door speakers!
New set run about $1100 - asking $650+shipping for the set and willing to ship within the US.
Ah, I just actually looked it up and it's 24%, though IMO, anything darker than 30% makes it more difficult to see during those dark winters we have and in heavy rain at night.
If you want it done right, go pro and get ceramic tint. Lasts pretty much forever and won't turn purple or peel/bubble. Accutint is a good place in Seattle and there's also a small shop in Bothell called Darkside I always take my cars to. Carlos there does great work at a pretty reasonable...
Anyone know if there would be any compatibility issues with newer Model S? I have a 2017. Seems like the swap is pretty easy: pop the old one off, snap the new one in.
I had First Day Electric install mine. Out of the 5 electricians I got quotes from, they were the least expensive (Seatown wanted $1800), had the best availability, and did a great job.
For sale is a set of 19" Slipstream wheels in Sonic Carbon from my Model S. Took them off last year when I upgraded to 21" and new tires.
No curb rash and they're in great condition and come with TPMS and wheel caps. They are currently mounted to my old set of tires, but the tires are pretty...
I have the Light Harmonic upgraded speakers (non-UHFS Model S) and noticed a big upgrade in terms of sound. The speakers are pretty plug and play and with trim tools, took me about 30 mins to swap. They used to make a kit for the UHFS system too that added a better amp and subwoofer that I can't...
I just put these on my car yesterday. Had mismatched Primacy and MXMs on 19"s before. These ones are already quieter, smoother, and seem to have grip for days. They are 3PMSF rated and should do great in the snow, though we have none in Seattle yet for me to test. Cost is pretty reasonable too...
My wheel search is at an end -
So I had the wheel repair place that fixed the curb rash from the last owner look at my wheel and it turns out the hub is fine, they just had to clear some of the paint they used when they were refinishing. Problem solved! Wheel is fine and the new wheels and all...
These ones here from Vredstein: (Tire Rack). They seem to be getting great reviews so far, but they are pretty new. Not a lot of info on winter performance yet and this would only be for the non-staggered 21"s. If I can ever get these on my car, I'd be happy to pass along feedback!
Just bought a set of used 21" Grey Turbine wheels for my 16.5 Model S to replace my 19"s, now that there are A/S tires available in that size. Got the wheels sent off for wheel repair to fix the curb rash the last owner left, they're back and looking pretty, tires came in, but when they were...
As someone who has had auto wipers on the last few cars I've had and used the auto setting almost exclusively, I am very disappointed in how the Tesla auto wipers work. I'm used to auto not being good in every situation (ie: the Seattle "mist" we get so often - never could get the speeds right)...
