Yeah that integration is pretty outdated and uses the old polling method which keeps the car awake. Use Teslamate or the HACs integration.

I also vote you, like someone did on GitHub :) that’s if you want to of course. Totally understand it’s a lot of work especially if you already have a full time coding or similar job.

If you are an Octopus energy customer the Electroverse card is a must. In Austria we have no superchargers near us but a 11Kw destination charger outside the hotel at 32p. Wouldn’t activate via app but RFID card saved us!

If you are even slightly computer literate Tesla mate is by far the better option. So customisable and free for life. Easy to run in the cloud or at home on a raspberry Pi. Gotta love the open source community.
