good: audio system sounds so good, one pedal, acceleration even more than imagined quibbles: needs native apple music ui, rattles, bit hard to climb in/out even with easy entry

if both were sitting available in front of me i would probably go with a Y but i do not regret getting my p3d- :)

you can’t order a p3d- on the website you have to ask a sales advisor. i paid $52,900 for red with white interior.

p3d- and p3d+ are both awesome and equally worth it. tbh i wanted the + but when the - became available i could do 60 months $915. if i went for a + i probably would have had to do 72 months.

consider running the 18s until the tires are worn out and need replacing. then get tsportline 19" wheels and tires. i think you could sell the 18" wheels on craigslist or ebay.

i got a red/white p3d- about a month ago. that is definitely the way to go. but if i was in your shoes i'd stick with the awd you already have and hope for a chance to buy the performance unlock in the future. the $5-10k you are going to lose would come in handy for your next tesla in 2024 :)

i live only about a mile away. i got my p3d- about a month ago and survived the first few weeks on 110v and getting a boost at the supercharger. now i have my nema 14-50 outlet i get 29 mi/hr at home so i havent been back. still nice to have it so close if i ever need a quick fill up. :)

i was thinking mainly of best 0-60 launches in a straight line. 99% of the time i drive like a grandpa but occasionally i need to pwn a mustang or subaru wrx at a red light. when i watched a couple youtube reviews i realized most performance tire buyers care about cornering.

you said "You'll never break traction with AWD" but is that mainly due to the traction control? i was just guessing that better grip might unlock more power because the traction control system wouldn't kick in.

destructure, would the wider rears relax the traction control system a bit?

what’s your plan for rotations? side to side or none? i’m guessing 255 is an ok option for the rear too eh?

I picked up my Red/White P3D- a week ago July 24th. I had high expectations obviously since i plunked down $52.9k. But the car exceeded my expectations in every way: insanely powerful, ride/noise is good, audio system is a joy. TeslaCam is really fun I ended up recording a rear-ender in the lane...

anybody got a firmware update on their new p3d-? i’m still 2019.15 but my wifi connection in the garage is pretty weak (2 bars). just wondering if i need to do something about the wifi or maybe we are supposed to stay on .15 for now?
