Tesla Model S 75 charger help

hi all my car is in the garage and I’ve got a model s 75 loaner. I noticed earlier it only has CCS charging, without the additional 2 prongs. How do I charge one of these at a super charger? rather unhelpfully no charging cable was included and it doesn’t looks like the return trip home...

    Window Problems, maybe?

Anyone got a solution for a window shudder on the drivers side over bumps. I’ve tried Gummi Pledge which seems to help for a day or so but it wears off fairly fast. This stuff has worked on all my rimless windows to date but the Tesla windows seem to have a different approach to seals. I’d...

    Quick supercharger question

I don’t regularly supercharge (today being my 2nd time).... but I noticed that there is a large vibration and occasional popping from under the car. Is that normal?

    Tesla Paint

Any idea where I could get a touch up pen of Tesla Blue paint. I have a whopper of a stone chip dead centre of my bonnet after 2 months and it’s really pi$$ing me off. I was hoping the paint would be stronger than this tbf.

    Daily / Trip Charge limit

Quick question. has anyone’s daily charge limit changed since the last update. It’s always been 90% but has now changed to 88%. Just curious to why that might have happened.

Supercharging, does it wear it out or not?

Very simple question as the post. Only reason I ask is I have read conflicting posts. I have a bunch of free vend ionity chargers down the road on the A1 and If it doesn’t I plan to make the most of them on the trip back from work.

Real world range is possible :-O

Just did a trip with 4 to Alton towers, fully loaded car with various bags for the drop offs after. Heated seats etc on the entire journey pretty much. We managed 210/220 w/kWh - averaging around 70. The trip totalled 263 miles got home with 25% battery bang on. Predicting 88 more miles. We...

    First Trip to work

So did my first trip to work today in the Tesla around 140 mile round trip. The positives: It’s effortless when compared to the previous car, autopilot is great (mostly). It seems fairly efficient. I averaged 208w/mile which was better than expected at 68mph average Stereo is great which...

Just collected my Model 3 which is great. However I’ve noticed the fog light option is greyed out. Is that normal?

    Got my delivery text

I’ve had my delivery text confirmed, apparently it’s contactless home delivery (wasn’t given an option on this). Can anyone tell me what to expect, or is it worth asking to collect from Heathrow? I was expecting to wait another month from September so pretty chuffed.

    Self Park / Park Assist

Quick one really, am I right in thinking that the standard model 3 without FSD doesn’t have a park assist function. Before I get a grilling / this isn’t for me

    Daft Question (Maybe)

Did anyone else receive a text from a standard U.K. mobile claiming to be Tesla requesting the RN number. Whilst I’m sure it can’t be used for anything and maybe it’s all the cyber training I’ve been doing at work but, I had a second thought about sending it over. cheers

    Extending connectivity

Has anyone on a contract lease has experience extending connectivity beyond the first year? I’ve read a few comments from others that you can’t do this if you’re on a contract hire as it’s the lease companies car... seems a bit odd to me but thought I’d ask

    Any Goo insurers.

Does anyone know if any of the insurers are reasonable? I looked last year and the quotes were around £450 which seemed fine (14 years / 13 NCB) but there seems to have been a massive shift and the standard group are now coming up at between £800 lowest but on average £1400 - £5000 a year...

    Charge point install

Hi all Another question probably already covered, however I couldn’t find anything specific. We’re looking at getting a home charge point installed, however our meter cupboard stupidly is installed right next to the front door, and the wife is concerned an install would trash her newly...

    Range and battery charging

Morning all, I’m sure this has been done to death and I’m also sure I read a post about this but for some reason can’t find it. I’m in the market for long range, as I need the 320 miles or so. Reading a few posts, people recommend the battery is only chanted to say 80-90% can someone confirm...

    Is it worth it?

So my question is kinda spawned today, because; a) the wait b) the cost due to extra mileage. I’ve had to up my mileage to 15k a year, which has pushed my monthly payment on the LR version to £500ish with £6k down. That includes the interior in white and blue paint. What I want to know is...

    Model X takes a beating

Tesla Model X Long Range 2019 UK review | Autocar Anyone read this review. Took a fair beating with a pretty rubbish rating. Autopilot is criticised as being rubbish also, which surprised me a little. Thoughts?

    Lease Question?

So i've gone for lease on the Model 3 LR, mainly because I like to change car every 2 years or so. Typically I run a PCP so this is new to me in terms of using an external company. They seem really good, the deal seems excellent. My question comes around this signing the documents before the...

    Collection Charging

Hey, I am hoping to collect my new motor from the Heathrow pick up location, and was wondering if anyone knows whether you can request it's charged full for collection or if they have onsite chargers? Thanks
