That works only if people don't just leave their cars parked sitting there fully charged.. sigh. I've seen that too many times.. The same TM3s or TMYs still charging after I have arrived, charged and left! Ss and Xs, I'll give them a pass, since the older ones have slower charging systems.

A recent development is the installation of native Tesla charging plugs at the EVgo Charging stations at the Whole Foods Market on Ocean Ave, in San Francisco. 50kw Charging. I haven't tried it yet, but it's good to know that I can just pull that cable and plug in out there if needed now...

Someone has even suggested a "dotted" line underneath the Dual Motor markings! LOL! I kind of like that, but I doubt I'd ever apply it.. =) That said, I'm not waiting for anything nice onscreen, but the chrome underline (or other suitable color) would have been nice to see onscreen.

Same here. 9/2019 build with the frunk hooks, door pocket lighting and all of the stuff DopeGhoti mentioned. I complained about the lack of frunk mat, so they gave me one gratis as a goodwill gesture. I bought my own Apple Lightning cable. No biggo.

We took delivery of our Model 3 the same week as yours. We applied and have received our $2,500 CVRP rebate in full. The $2500 check arrived in the mail just about 1.5 weeks ago. Hope that helps...

do you have the red underline underneath “dual motor” on your screen? If so then you do have a full-on performance stealth.

Same here.. No difference at all in ride/harshness nor ease of drivability. I might be a tad gentler now on the throttle in just relaxed driving around town, but If I want the speed/G-forces, it's right here underfoot..

The Acceleration Boost upgrade for $2000 USD does not include the track mode setting. It would be nice for Tesla to release that as another upgrade, but that's just wishing. If you want the track mode setting, you'll need to get a Performance version Model 3.

Hmm.. that may depend upon the insurance company. When I checked with mine, there was no difference between trim levels for my TM3 back in 9/2019 when I asked. They just had one quote for the TM3, or maybe I'm just in a different demographic that seems to have a lower risk to them.

Yes and No. It seems to depend upon delivery date. Different spec Inverter in the rear motor unit between the Perfomance and standard LRAWD built on/about/after April/May 2019. 980s are P/N for the rear motor assembly with inverter, vs 990 P/N on the rear motor assembly for the standard LRAWDs...

Welp.. after several weeks of thinking "dang.. I should have just traded in my LR AWD for a sleeper." ... I sat in the garage last night with the car for a few minutes, and pulled the trigger.. Welcome "Chill | Sport" now with the upgrade!! Sure, even after this, I'm still only halfway there...

IF you have not yet taken delivery of your Long Range AWD car yet, see if your SA can find you a Stealth Long Range Performance model (on 18" or 19" wheels) for the SAME $2000 spent. The Stealth Performance will give you even MORE performance than this Acceleration upgrade for the same money.

I have a 2019 LR AWD non-performance w/o FSD (build date 9/2019), and I see the upgrade text about the Acceleration Boost in my Tesla account for this car. I am also now on 40.2 as well.

It's much easier to list what isn't included (or recently deleted) from the latest production than what IS included. =)

My best on my LRAWD (non-P) so far was a 4.27 verified 0-60 total, or same run = 3.97 with 1-ft rollout) prior to the upgrade with 81% SoC via my Dragy.. I need to try this again now that I am on .36..

I'm not a huge fan of Tesla Customer Service, but I will say that it seems that they are trying to improve the accuracy of delivery estimates this quarter compared to last quarter. Last quarter, all the estimate I ever had when looking online was "within 2 weeks". Unless something catastrophic...

Yup. local sales management approved my 2 years of free supercharging this AM. Personally, as I don't SC ever really, I'd rather it be a set amount of mileage, and then I can go hit the SCs as needed on long trips. Either way, I'm glad I have it now. Yay.

nope, my LRAWD was missing the frunk mat as well. I took delivery on 9/21. That said, I did get some random plastic scraps in the frunk left over from the assembly process. Wohoo! #wasntimpressed.

same deal here. was charging my car, then got kicked out of my iOS app, with password incorrect. changed my PW, logged back in, only to find that the server was down. I was able to log in successfully 3 min later.

had a window to update, but somehow, I must have clicked close on it whilst dealing with some other crisis. SMH.

Finalized Spec on 8/31. White on Black, LRAWD 18" Aero, Std Autopilot. Picking up tomorrow 9/21 in San Francisco too!
