Called Tesla for another update. I have a delivery date! 9th March at Dartford (anyone know if it is the service centre or the sales side that you pick up from; they didn't tell me and I forgot!).
Leaseplan didn't know a delivery date had been produced, nor that a registration number was ready.

I understand that, but I was helping confirm the situation for Durzel. The delivery appointment is sent to Leaseplan who in theory will call with the appointment. That is what Tesla have told me anyway.
Also ordered through my organisation who ordered direct with Leaseplan. Their normal customer services don't appear to be willing to give out / knowledgeable of RN numbers. However, the Leaseplan order team who order with Enterprise Operations at Tesla, do get an RN number. Try emailing...
It's when something goes wrong that they're problematic. Arrogant, accusatory and rude customer service managers. Useless at following up with problems.
I can't speak in relation to Tesla and Tusker. However, I can say I've had horrendous experiences with Tusker in general. I rate them very poorly - as you'll find a lot online and I'm not the first to say in this thread.
I thought they would prefer an email to a phone call. Given my expected delivery was November, then December, then late Jan, then mid Feb, then late-Feb / early March! I contacted them in December by email and then January. Turns out phone is much easier and they give you the answer fairly...
I've sent them 3 emails since I ordered in September. They didn't reply to my first 2 enquiring about delivery times (after I went way past the expected delivery dates I was first told) but they replied to my third asking them to add a referral code on within 24 hours and said no. :)
You can try, some people have been successful. Most have failed. You can email [email protected] or you can ring them, or you can ask just prior to collection. I have tried email and phone and been rejected on both. I will try again on collection.
Funny, I had the same. I called up a couple of weeks ago and they told me 2-3 weeks and that I should get a delivery date last week. The delivery date never emerged but my same spec cars appeared on the web site as inventory so I decided I'd place a call to see whether they could allocate me one...
Interesting. My order is from September. The exact spec has appeared in existing inventory. I asked them to swap onto it but they said they won't as they are part of the same shipment. Have you been given a delivery date as I'm told end of Feb/beginning of March. :)
Any of those that have been given a delivery date, were you told before the delivery date that it would be a collection of mid-Feb or end-Feb/early March? I'm in the latter category, just trying to establish where I fit in all this!

In my head I am envisaging something like a wall mount for a hosepipe would work.

My September 20th order for an SR+ has now been matched and will be delivered in either the last week of February or first week of March. Of course, my last update was mid February, before that was January, before that was December and before that was November. So we'll see! :)
I don't doubt your account, however people must have relatively reasonably experiences with them normally. I am using them for my lease and have had no issues at all so far. They're used regularly at my work.
I was told by Tesla to expect my order by mid-January. They later updated to say mid-February. Does that suggest that matches with no ships coming in during Jan?
