I also just ordered the small display that @Mandingo linked above. It looks really responsive, and much easier to use - ie, I just want to turn my car on and go, and have carplay just work. While the white wire is annoying a little bit, its not a deal breaker for me - its clearly not OEM.

I have been using my T2C for a few weeks, and it works *most* of the time for me, but on every drive, there are multiple disconnects, etc. and at least 50% of the time I have to reboot the device. It is not what I would call stable. Matt

yeah - just found that - that is SUPER annoying, every single drive I have to go into the menu now.

I should change that - Traffic Aware Cruise Control - WITH steering.... it worked really well on the old software. The new one keeps trying to pull me out of the carpool lane - really not helpful at all.

Yeah - with the old software- I had the choice (at least on the freeway) of just doing traffic aware cruise control - it seems with FSD - that option goes away. Matt

you guys are killing it - I am 95, all because of "unsafe distance" that is all but impossible on a california freeway drive to not hit over and over again. Maybe I will get it a month or so - depending on how quickly they ramp it up.

That's what I am doing now - autopilot on the freeway (which I did most of the time anyways) and now doing autopilot on regular streets - since it always grades itself as 100.

Eventually it does go to sleep - after about 45m. I can turn off TeslaFi entirely and see if that makes a different. Good call. @kenadams - I only have TeslaFi hooked up - I can disable that setting in the UI though - it would be a good test.
