@Gazmayo based on historic posts this usually drops from about 2 Days to go, so like me the email will drop this Wednesday, for scheduled delivery on the 14th

Source says every car produced after June 1st this year has both (we shall see). I've tried to check VIN for date of manufacture but it's only given me dates either side of my VIN, so had to interpolate. So not exact, but I'm confident. My VIN is 749XXX. Hope this helps @ KJRowe6

With Glovis Sun departing Zeebrugge tonight at 22.00 and arriving at Southampton tomorrow at 14.30, my 100 day wait is nearly over. Soo looking forward to delivery on the 14th August. Added bonus I also now know I have the wireless charging and USB-C

If you have Contactless Delivery they will send you another SMS with a link, on the day of delivery itself so you can track your car as it makes it's way to you. You will also receive an email from Tesla after delivery to activate your phone app.

Surprised they have asked you to collect most of the deliveries for mid August are Contactless from what I've seen on recent threads. May be worth a call to Tesla.

Mr M total shot in the dark here but is it possible with the earlier than scheduled arrival of the Glovis Sun into Zeebrugge that RHD M3s will be cross loaded into the Orion Highway scheduled into Southampton on the 6th August?

Glovis Sun now has an eta into Belgium at 23:00 on 4th August. And hitting 20.1 knots currently. Go Glovis Sun.

Same as @Gazmayo got a text from Tesla this morning saying that delivery to my home address will be on the 14th August. I was VIN matched last week and ordered the car through my company car scheme (via Zenith) on the 5th May 2020.

Can't see my VIN as through a leasing company. Mine is a M3 SR+ In White/Black Interior......ordered on the 24th April

@BigWig20, allocations are made from after the ship has left Pier 80 (West Coast Working Hours) in San Francisco. Many people have been matched on the current shipment on board Glovis Sun already (VIN allocation/ match to orders placed). You may get lucky but some people who have been allocated...

All sounds right, with UK deliveries circa 21st August onwards!

Last shipment was turned around within a week or so. Arrived 17th June and people were generally taking delivery by the 26th at the latest. Only thing I can think of is a longer stay in Belgium before coming to the UK. Maybe one for Mr Miserable? As you say strange!

Tesla on average produce circa 1,000 cars per day, although Freemont is currently being upgraded to up that to approximately 1,300 per day. So in 2 weeks they would have churned out 12,000. The planned Giga - Factory in Germany once built will up this to 1,500 a day. I caveat this information in...

No VIN, No match to cars onboard = No car. Glovis Sun enroute to the EU is not due into Southampton until 7th August. So early delivery in August is a No also I'm afraid

Umm to the UK?, I find that very hard to believe. 2 weeks to build, 3 weeks from Pier 80 to the EU. Another 2-3 days to get to Southampton. Transport distribution after arriving at the docks. Then detailing and contactless delivery. The math doesn't add up.

Just curious Mr M What size of a ship is Glovis Sunrise? And as a Roll on Roll off how long would would it take load say 2000 M3's?

Mine ordered M3 SR+ on the 24th April and I still awaiting a VIN number so it sounds typical to me. But some people do fall lucky, remember Tesla don't build cars to order they just build cars and you get matched to your order.
