Yep, propping a 13” laptop there is OK if your attending meetings, watching videos etc. Typing would be uncomfortable quickly. Tilting the seat back another 5-10 degrees helps. However a tablet with keyboard works well ( also good for entertaining kiddos )

Short answer: yes. You can have Tesla install it before or after delivery. Uhaul doesn't list hitches yet for M-Y yet (although they do for S and 3). I doubt they'll touch something they don't have explicit instructions for (even though the 3 and Y install process is really close)

Sure, I've seen i1 Teslas video among others, and they did indicate 3 hours in the shop. But $141/hr shop rate. Ugh, I'm in the wrong industry :)

Well, it turned out I found some damage I hadn't noticed in the overlay on the section over the cupholders. How it happened, I have zero clue. So ... ripped all three pieces out, and ordered some Tesmanian covers in gray. Sigh. Loved the look of the wood, hated the warping I could never eliminate.

I have the Farasla cover. Its a bit snug, but fine. Had it a few weeks.

Got my Y back from tint and PPF a couple of days ago. They removed the front emblem for PPF, and reapplied without issue. Looks fine doesn’t move etc.

Contributing as a non BMW owner. The Y sound system, IMHO, sounds on par or slightly better than the premium ML system in my Lexus LS460. Better than my Avalon Limited.

For those reading about speeding stories, owners can set the max speed of the vehicle via the app. Now preventing drug dealers is a whole different story.

I have a black diamond pattern cover on order. Nothing wrong with the OEM armrest - just prefer more padding and protect the original finish. I did the same in my Avalon.
