Yeh I've had charger too now - installers are next week for me. It charges as a dumb charger but will randomly click off every 10 minutes (then back on again) so the poor tesla is getting a stop start charge :-(. Luckily I dont need to go far in next week so I'll try just living off this charge...

Same for me. They are replacing the unit to one that works with the new Teslas. Cant fault their customers service considering this sounds like something that isn't actually their fault.

Just as an update from me.....ohme have told me that Tesla have changed the tolerances on the charging and as a result they have had to sort new hardware - they have offered to come and swap my unit out for free. Also though -i restarted my unit (fuse on and off) and since then its been...

Seems to be a recognised issue as Ohme have sent an email out stating Tesla have changed something their end and they are working on a fix. Anyone else having the issue or have a work around? I'm trying all sorts of combinations of doing things to try and make the charger work but no luck...

Another interesting one....are the faults specific to a model like you say? And are they worse at different service centres? (Suggesting they arrive the same...but wonder if some centres fix more issues before collecting). I feel bad for you though! Hope they sort soon

Yeh I'm not sure on that......although appreciate its in Germany so the process might vary. But in UK you get given a date (which hopefully doesnt change!) and the car is registered and you drive it away (Finance/Insurance permitting etc)............ Very odd :(

Odd - although it has sounded for a long time like there is no specific to pattern to who hears what when.

I always suspected mine was on the Platinum Ray (although never confirmed). But I've had my date now for Stockport pick up. When you say 'they' - I presume Tesla? It might be down to the collection centre? Which one were you hoping to get from?

I also thought I'd message Tesla....just in case having a 0 and not +44 meant I'd missed communications. Turns out I'm already booked for a collection on the 24th - but I had no idea! (My leasing company hadn't told me either!) So sometimes it pays to ask :)

I've not heard that one either? I had mine installed about a month ago now - still waiting for the actual car! When he'd finished the install he had the charger hooked up to a test box thing which simulated being plugged into a car - left it like that for 30 mins or so while finishing some other...

Are you a Manchester pick up? (Looking at your Location it looks like you are?). Maybe that's it - different pick up locations are able to provide collection dates sooner than others.

That has to be the first time I've actually seen LR in my exact config on the inventory page since I ordered......the logical part of my head says that if they have cars 'left over' in the inventory in transit then everyone who had ordered should have matched?!.....or is that being too hopeful?!!

Thanks for the update. I've never managed to get a RN (the one knowles gave me doesnt look to be the same format as all the other tesla ones I see). Guess I should just hope mine is also on one of the Sept boats then!

It comes back to the process....it seems lease cars are treated differently anyway....with much less communication to the customer who is left in the dark. There is another really good post on shipping movements which seems to imply only a couple more boats coming over for the Aug/Sept...

I still find the timings all over the place. Some people waiting a week or 2 for a delivery date....and ive seen some who ordered at the beginning of the year who don't yet have one. Which is why I'm not quite trusting the estimated date provided......

No referral code. An account seems to have been automatically created tesla end on the day my order went through. But there is nothing on there (I check a lot!) And not heard anything directly yet :-(
