There are PPF wraps to cover handles vs PPF to protect the surrounding handle area. I thought it was useful to install the second one because saw a post about fingernail scratches around the door handles from missed hand placement.

Highly recommend installing front mudflaps and handles/rear door PPF. I researched and went with Rally Armor mudflaps.

Proof, Tesla is prioritizing new MYP orders as recently as a few days ago (6/10!) for delivery over ours. They have plenty of supply/parts to build our LONG OVERDUE MYLR builds but instead go to fulfilling customers overpaying at the current ridiculous prices.

Curious that people mentioned that Tesla warns adding FSD then removing it will delay their orders, but since you got your VIN, they can’t take it back? Please let us know how it goes removing FSD.

I searched the prior year thread, and people were reporting in October of getting VIN’s assigned for the next model year. If our 2021 orders are going to be delayed until this October, at least we should get 2023 MY. ;)

Update: got out of June jail to Oct 10-Dec 5. MYLR white int + tow hitch ordered on 10/25/2021, which I recall Tesla website at that time said 8-12 weeks EDD. Ridiculous if this is going to take 12 months because they are filling latecomer orders that are more profitable (ie MYP, FSD, etc).

It's never too late to start investing. Hopefully you are contributing to a Roth IRA. I am similar in age to you but started investing about 5 years ago (and it's been up and down, especially with option plays, but overall up thanks to trading TSLA shares and options tax-free in my Roth IRA)...

I would recommend tracking your trailing stop price every week, given the size-able % movement on TSLA. I set a trailing stop around %12 after Q2 report, and it got triggered in 3 days (as the stop price only adjusts higher based on ATH).
