Auto Armour San Diego put XPEL on the front and rockers. We are bringing back to have rest of car done with PPF then ceramic.

It took us a few tries and tried both D mode and Standard mode. Finally were successful using standard mode (learning from remote) with the remote 2 inches from the "T" logo on the front. Also try pressing remote repeatedly instead of holding it down.

We went with Xpel UP. Started on the front but bringing it back to do the whole car PPF and then ceramic on top. Good luck! (I know it's not a Y but figured the PPF is same look on all)

FYI We ended up changing to 21 inch in order to get a July delivery and pleased that ride comfort is not an issue probably thanks to the air suspension. Saving our pennies for pothole/speedbump replacements and hopeful they last more than a couple of years!

Thanks for the info as I am in same situation here in San Diego. I asked two different SA's and they told me it would be no problem removing FSD and then adding it in the parking lot after delivery. I guess they haven't taken into account how it effects recent price changes. It's another...

Sunday morning was the third date range push back by a few days. Sunday night got the VIN. Not sure if it had changed during the day. I'm in San Diego so closer to Fremont than you are so maybe the Tesla delivery guesstimator has tighter windows. Hang in there!

An increased amount of orders are seeming to get July delivery windows and VIN's (myself included) and I'm a little worried about getting one out of the parking lot. If Gabe shows an empty overflow lot next week, that will be something to think about.... Tesla might consider it the $5,000...
