Welp, count me in the same camp as Hayseed_MS. Had a VIN assigned on Saturday, then an appointment for June 30th assign on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon the VIN poofed and then yesterday they remove the appointment time and now my account says estimated delivery in August. Good stuff...

Mine took about 18-22 hours. From about 1PM till 10:30AM the next day.

VIN! Woke up this morning to having a VIN on my account with June 29-30 for estimated delivery. So far no email or other documentation on the account other than the VIN and date, but it's progress! Hopefully the date holds.

It's pretty specific if you go down to the interior colors. June for black/cream with wood. If you are CF or White it's saying deliveries start in August. Hopefully that applies mainly to new orders and the supply issue doesn't hit those of us that got in earlier and have CF or White interior.

I believe the Model S screen is 17" and you don't pivot by the end of the screen, you pivot in the middle. That would make the amount of distance from the dash about half of your diagram which falls close to the 2-3" of travel the tweet included. Still could be tricky to do right, but Tesla is...
