I’d personally like to see about swapping to the 18” wheels if anyone in Indy area has a LR model 3 with the 18”s that would like to consider swapping? We could work out difference in tire wear too. Wanted the 18”s for the aero caps and normal wheels originally but my order was getting delayed...

In my current living arrangements I can’t charge at home (apartment) but my commute is less than 10 miles a day total. Does it do any undue harm to battery to not charge it daily. There’s a dealership about .25 miles away that I used to work and that allows me to leave it to charge when I need...

I bought a LR Model 3. Which comes with the regular mats. I ordered All weather mats and have them already. I'm in Indianapolis, Indiana. Can meet and give to whomever wants them. Best offer honestly.

I’m guessing the 2021 will have the updated hardware ? Though personally $200 a month is pretty damn steep. $100 I could probably do it. But not $200 when the payment is 425 after 29k down lol

Basically did same thing. For me a Blue/white LR popped up in existing in Chicago and I pounced on it after thinking about it for about a minute or 2 as it had the sport rims instead of the aero. I had been super torn about ordering the sport rims in first place, so wasn’t a big deal to seize...

Well boys. I did my daily check on existing and found my build (but with the 19” rims) I pulled the trigger and I’ll have it next week as it’s in Chicago and I’m in Indy!!

That’s a good rate. I’ll be putting 28-30k between cash and selling my current car, down on it. So just whenever I get the VIN assigned and have the days for delivery I can get the application in. Sign loan on day of delivery for check etc.

I’d consider a local credit union etc. (I work for one and haven’t done my application yet, but I know that they will rate match cause of my credit and actually go to 2.24% for 72 months which is a tad lower than what Tesla offers. Couldn’t hurt to inquire and see what a local CU or your banks...

The reliability of the only building foreign market cars is hearsay as far as I can tell. Nothing of the sort was said from the two times I talked with the local Tesla center here. with how ppl have have gotten VINs from April orders through June orders I find it highly unlikely that they would...

First time it’s basically been a 10 day window. (Sundays don’t count in indiana as it’s illegal for dealerships to be open) it’s been 3-4 week windows previously on all EDDs.

Mine updated to the same window this morning. June 12th order. Lr blue/white 18” and no FSD

This mornings update, Slid back to the left after yesterday going to aug7-25 Today: July 28-aug7 which is by far the narrowest EDD that my RN has ever updated to.

Just got off the phone with a SA at the Tesla Center here in Indy. He said that he has seen multiple instances of EDDs being updated to very close date wise then it for some reason pushing out dates. Then after several days there’s the vin assignment. He also said that they’ve been told that...

Nice! Ordered 6/12 LR blue /white reg wheels no FSD and it updated for me to push it out another 3-5 weeks. Tesla’s system is mind-bogglingly stupid at times. Really turning an exciting thing (getting a car I’ve wanted for 5-10 years) into a turn-off as they had just updated my EDD to July...

EDD on Monday after multiple changes July 19-aug7 edd today aug7- 27. Honestly this is just feeling like straight up ineptitude at this point.

A good bit of those April orders were put on hold and reinstated later. That puts them back in line. There seems to be a couple ppl that ordered late may that got VINs recently. just don’t hold your breath lol

Honestly at this point I think that whenever Tesla is batching out VIN numbers their software “gets confused and runs home to mama” and throws a generic weeks EDD til everything is updated. Seems to be a pretty heavy trend in the time I’ve been on the forums that we all get this and then more...

6/12 order date. Yesterday it changed to July 19-aug7. This am it updated back to generic 11-17 weeks… Hopeful me: Yay they’re possibly batching VINs and I made the cut! Realistic me: Hurry up and wait more.

June 12th order date. Edd changed from the 11-17 weeks from yesterday. This morning it moved up to July 19-aug 7. hopeful me: I just missed the cut for a VIN. realistic me: Edd is gonna change tomorrow and I’ll be waiting more.

What is a drive you’d recommend? (Is the one in the Tesla shop not good for use for Tesla cam?)

I hope that holds true. I was updated to July 25-aug 8th Friday. Today was refreshed to 11-17 weeks. That’d be very depressing if it wasn’t true. Ha

New EDD this morning July 25 - aug 8th. At least a step in the right direction! Wonder if I’ll get in the dreaded 7/11 again haha

Same thing for me. Blue with white interior no other changes. Indy. For me it was moved up to July 19-aug7 for several weeks. Then moved to 7/11 for last 3 days. Hopefully it switches but I’d say we are all in same hope boat.

Did you just call and talk with your sales rep? Or just the location in general? Mine was solidly at July 19-aug1 til it switched back to the generic 7-11 weeks. (Model 3 LR AWD Blue with White int.) when my Tesla comes in I’m selling my car to my brother so timing of a big delay like that...
