My only guess is that this is because you are east of Austin. I also have a June EDD and I am hoping we'll get the Austin MY.

My local SA this weekend suggested changing my order from trade-in to cash as a possible way to speed up the EDD. She didn't sound confident, though, so I didn't. There's now a form the SA can submit that is supposed to bring attention to super-delayed EDDs.

I got moved out to June again this week. Today, I visited my local service center. There is now a new form available for SA's to use in our situation. It was described to me as a form to escalate delayed orders to a higher service level. I'll report back if it shakes anything loose.

I really think buyers east of the Mississippi can, but not always, face longer EDD delays. That could be my imagination, but it seems to be what I'm seeing rather than any factor related to profile completion, holds, or configuration.

Congrats! It looks great! Your point about the charging parts got me to thinking. I've been putting off the order of my NEMA 14-50 adapter from Tesla. I went to the Tesla site and they are out of stock of that adapter. Anyone have experience to know how long these parts stay out of stock?

@BGOwner our EDD have stayed about the same. My EDD just got move up (from May-June) to April 27 - May 25. Still seems so far away, and so I'm like you hoping for an Austin build.

@samori01 Is your order coming to Brentwood? I placed my order in person there, before there was a service center in Knoxville. I called them yesterday and the SA I spoke said they were only receiving MYP and that they hadn't had MYLR in weeks.

Unbelievable. EDD pushed to May 18-June 15. I'm taking a break from all things Tesla for a while. I'll check back in when and if I ever get a VIN. I expect I'll just be talking to myself by then.

Me. EDD is Apr 5 to May 3. So, it's two more months at least before there's an EDD for Tesla to shrink, postpone, or expand.

I'm thinking (hoping) us Tennessee folks have later EDDs because the east coast will be getting Austin Ys.

My EDD moved to June and stayed there a looong time. Last week it was moved to April 5-May 3, which is better. I guess.

This is the most logical explanation I've seen! If true, it would explain a lot!

I know it's commonly thought that completing your profile sometime after the order date somehow delays the EDD, but what's the authority for that? That is not the impression I've received from the SA's I've spoken to. Logically, even if the profile is completed some days or even weeks after...

I'm also out of June Jail! New EDD is April 5 to May 3.

This is actually encouraging. My EDD was just updated from "June" to "June 2022." Thanks Tesla. I may take my parents for a test drive on MLK day and use that as an opportunity to see if I can get the same hopeful news.

I haven't tracked all my EDD revisions, so I've only listed the major milestones. I've checked multiple times with multiple SA's to confirm my profile is complete, but you're right it does seem like something is amiss.

I'm also at 154 days, with an EDD of "June".

I went in to my service center yesterday, just to triple check there was not an issue with my profile completion. I ordered 8/4, EDD is "June." This would be 11 months after my order! He confirmed everything was in order and agreed it made no sense that my EDD was just a month shorter than...

I have an X1 with the trunk kick. Once I figured out the motion, it became very reliable. I will miss it for sure. The videos I've seen of MY aftermarket sensors did not seem very easy to install, for my level of ability at least.

White/white, 5-seat, 20", no tow, no FSD. Just went to my service center again and spoke to an SA. My profile is complete and they can't explain why my EDD is only a month earlier than a new order. My order was placed on Aug. 4.

I would love to have your EDD! My MYLR White/white/20"/5/AP EDD is June. Ordered 8/4.

I spoke with a SA at my local center, who ironically has a LRMY on order with my exact same specs. He placed his order in July. He also has an EDD of June. He believes our delay has to do with the white body color.
