Literally hated driving the car with the sound. Sounds silly but it was embarrassing to drive.

Turned out to be a faulty rear toe link assembly. I think this finally did the trick. Keep you all updated 🤞

Curious if marques would take up this issue. If I’m not mistaken he has an early build.

I am 100% remember they advertised the tilting screen when I purchased mine in February of 21. It was on the website when I placed my order. In addition to the numerous mentions of cyberpunk and Witcher at every presser.

Car is back in the shop for this(3 times so far). Torqued sub frame. Changed rear suspension. Went away for a few weeks now back. 🤦‍♂️

I’ve been through this 3 times already. Harness. Antenna to the entire computer. Worked for a few months after the entire computer was fixed but now I just noticed it is off by 50-100 feet which is causing issues with navigation and autopilot. Does the lemon law come into play with this?

Had this same issue and they replaced a bunch of parts including the mcu. They replaced the antenna on a previous visit but that wasn’t the issue. These are the parts they replaced which fixed the issue: TLA,AP-T,CONN- Q,MCU-Z,MSX FUSED. Someone on another thread said this is a known issue...

Same as dgs said. I including pics of nav which I included in the service call. I took video as well but they never asked for it. It’s still working normally few hundred miles in. Good luck. I hope this is the last of the issues.

They replaced my antenna but that didn’t help. I have an appointment next week and they are scheduled to replace the harness, and entire mcu 🤷‍♂️ Let you know if it works 🤞I miss autopilot

Def does. It does it in while in auto or comfort. I just wish it made a bigger difference. Maybe I’m expecting too much.

Hm. Ok I always run it on low because it looks better 😆 but the car raises itself when the road gets rough. I personally don’t feel the difference but who knows. Hopefully this gets addressed soon or if at all.

Any other changes noticed other then the headlights and taillights? Swivel screen? Additional Ambient lighting since wires are present? Passenger dash screen? Removed ultrasonic sensors?

I had the same exact noise and it was also a loose subframe bolt. They tightened it up and I haven’t heard it since.

ryobi makes a 50 dollar one at HD that will do a great job at rinsing the undercarriage, but I have read on a few forums that high pressure UC wash isn’t recommended. 🤷‍♂️

I agree. Test drove the eqs last weekend at an eqs event and wasn’t impressed. Shape wasn’t flattering and surprisingly there was a d noticeable amount of rattles. Unsure if they are still pre production? I would not switch until I get wowed, still love the Model S

They finally fixed it. Said they had to escalate the issue to engineering and they fixed it on their end. 🤷‍♂️

Here is what is embossed on the flaps. I asked the seller prior to buying if it fit the plaid/long range 2021 and he said yes. Clearly it doesn’t and wasn’t designed for it.

Service center fixed it. Was a improperly torqued subframe. They torqued it. Alignment. It’s gone. FYI.

The service center is going to label me as annoying but I refuse to accept these defects in a car of this price. Shoot, my daughters Nissan Sentra has ZERO rattles in it. Coming from similar prices bmws and RRs, I expect similar fit and finish. I hope this isn’t a fools errand.

Had one rattle in the driver side rear door that they had to fix. Service tightened a Loose wiring harness. I still hear it slightly. Second rattle/creaking noise coming from the front area when backing out of the driveway and cutting the wheel left or right. Or driving forward slowly...

Same, no wind noise, all tire. First ev but it is very distracting. Just wondering if it’s so much more noticeable because of the lack of engine noise.

I think plaid stays the same. LR goes up again to close the gap. Elon mentioned he will be adjusting pricing based on demand, EDD for LR is June - insane.

Looks like in addition to the Y and 3 increases, the Model S LR went up 5000 to 95000. I suspect another 5000 by the end of the year to close the gap to the plaid.

Do you like it with the factory lug nut cover center thing or with the aftermarket center cap?

Unsure if I’m crazy but in the beginning I experienced the same things you just described. Now with 2000 miles on, unsure if the car learns or just the recent updates but it is sooo much smoother. It brakes smooth, much sooner than before. I have to say I’m VERY pleased with it thus far...

To be honest. It’s been pretty good. Lets see over the next few weeks.

I agree with the customization option but I love the update. It prevents alot of the accidental presses that plagued my drives. It’s not going away, so the only hope is they make it more livable.

I’m curious, if I factory reset it shouldn’t it be bare bones firmware? Why would my software be any different than any other model S refresh. It may be a pain to reconfigure profiles etc but i don’t understand how my car is different and needs a patch.

They were unable to fix it. States they are developing a firmware to correct it and will OTA it to me. I’m screwed
