Maybe I am really old school but I have been trained not to ignore permanent errors. Either the system or software needs a fix. When you actually see a problem it may be too late. Would you ignore disk I/O errors until the disk go completely offline?!

Had a chat with a service rep. It is meant for development and could be ignored if the car behaves normally. Another example of Tesla stellar software development practices :)

I would argue that yoke, in general, is not a problem; Tesla’s implementation is the problem. There are many track cars where the yoke is actually beneficial (have not seen a single street car, though). However, the real issue is the lack of stalks and the “fix” does not solve that problem...

Note the delay in the wheels turning. It is pretty bad. There are many areas where we actually need improvements; reinventing the wheel is not one of them.

If we really have to “reinvent the wheel”, imagine a yoke that turns to around 150’ each way, combined with stalks for turn signals and forward/reverse, and center horn. Wouldn’t that be a better solution than the current yoke?
