That's strange. I was told today by my SA that I'm going to be the first delivery in NY.

FWIW, the website says "17” center display, 12.3” driver’s display, and 8” second row display" for both the S and X. Is it possible they made the X screens bigger?

Update…my car is currently passing through Colorado and expected to arrive between the 19th-21st. If that holds, looking at delivery next weekend or early the following week. My account still shows TBD.

The current timeline puts me at just under 3 weeks from VIN assignment to delivery so you can still receive a VIN in early December and get the car by end of year. Keeping my fingers crossed for you guys...

I called him for an update and he told me. I was getting worried that there may be a holdup since it hadn't left the factory, but relieved now that it has left and is on its way.

My car has apparently left the factory and is at the railyard waiting to start its journey to the east coast....was told that it's expected to arrive between the 20th - 23rd.

As of yesterday morning, my car still hadn't left Fremont so still waiting to schedule delivery. I was told there are no holds on the car so its just a matter of logistics since I'm on the east coast and it should leave the factory in the next day or so. Once I have more info, I will let you...

As I say that, my EDD just changed to TBD for the first time.

Not only did my EDD say January before I got my VIN, but it STILL says January! It's definitely just a placeholder for most. That's not to say that some people with a current January EDD won't ultimately end up getting it in January, but just that it currently means nothing until Tesla...

No idea, but it is not just based on RN. Someone who ordered after me got their car before me and people who ordered before me have not received a VIN yet. It's supposed be based on some combination of configuration, location, order date, etc, but nobody really knows how it works.

I have a VIN and spoke to my SA. He said my account is showing an expected arrival date. When the car is closer to NY, I will get a text to schedule my delivery date and time.

My car is expected to arrive in about 2 weeks, which makes sense since I'm on the east coast.

January and now it...still says January! In other words, EDD still means nothing.

Hope you’re right and more people on here start getting VINs. It’s been a long journey.

FWIW, my MVPA still refers to it as “Long Range” with a base price of $69,990 plus $20k for the long range option.

I got an email saying my car was ready for final payment then went to my account page and saw the VIN.

Meaning I originally ordered before the refresh was announced. Ordered Jan. 8.

I just got a VIN!!! Pre-refresh 6-seat order. M in the VIN so a 2021. EDD still says January 🤷🏻‍♂️

PSEGLI offers a $500 instant rebate off the price of the charger (ends up around $175) and then pays you to charge overnight so I went for that. The Juicebox plugs right into the 240v outlet so no cost of installation either.

It seems that everyone who was contacted today was a pre-refresh order, except for one plaid order which was later.
