    M3 Tint question - windows but not roof. Any regrets?

    I also did 45% on the entire rear and four side windows, and 70% on the front (Xpel XR+). My plan is to test it out like that for a bit before deciding on tinting the roof and so far it’s been as is.

    Yeah, the loaner is nice. They provide free supercharging for the loaner which is also very nice since it's just a M3SR with less than 200 mile range on 80% charge. Plus they cover the costs for any tolls as well, which comes in handy in the Bay Area. And there's no cost for the service...

    I got a 253 VIN assigned within the last hour with a new EDD of 5/18 – 5/21!! Unfortunately that overlaps exactly with when I'll be out of town. :( I'll have to see if I can pick it up from Fremont either a day earlier (5/17) or day later (5/22). Wish me luck!

    I’ve had a couple 14 day windows and picking up from Fremont. My hunch is that Fremont is not keeping a lot of stock on site while there’s a shortage on the charging ports, and instead are loading cars up for delivery to other locations to prevent a backlog.

    They did a similar thing with the Intel and Ryzen chips in the MYs. For a bit of time earlier this year they were shipping MYs with the older Intel chips again, and I think they have switching back to the Ryzen eventually. So there is hope that the matrix lights may come back again to the M3LR.

    I think that legally there is a difference between showing a picture and actually stating in words that the matrix headlights are standard equipment. Plus I'm sure the purchasing the agreement is worded in such a way that it allows Tesla to change things, like with the Intel to Ryzen chip...
