Ok thanks, I had a call into Tesla & they just called back and confirmed that the only thing the main pack does is move the wheels like a gas tank (for lack of a better analogy). The 12 volt powers everything else including the doors,screen, USB and 12-volt plugs.

Maybe I should add some context. I'm getting a 6 seat Model X. I'm also 6' 7" tall. I'm figuring I can put my feet or my head in between the Gap in the second row seats. Those with claustrophobic seven seaters you may be S.OL.

Same goes for campers you can get a much better hotel stay in buy inexpensive as camper that's nowhere as near as nice inside.

Based on the Model S ramp. Canada is in a completely different release windows after the States. So, most likely there will be Model X 70Ds on US roads before Canada Signatures hit the road.

You may be right but until I see it from Tesla it doesn't count. It's stupid to slow MAX charging rates down. IMHO.

:-) Our house is 4000 Square feet plus an unfinished basement. - - - Updated - - - I wouldn't wire your HPWC for the Model X based on an internet rumor. Until I see the specs for the Model X directly from Tesla Motors Inc it's not a fact. When have you ever know Tesla to slow charging down?
