Just got the prompt to accept no USS, but no hidden VIN as yet EDD's changed slightly from 1/12-17/12 to 2/12-17/12

The honest answer (from my experience) is that Tesla reps don't know any more info than what we can see. Currently that's what your EDD's saying, so that's what they'll repeat. I've been waiting for my M3LR since April ("early Dec" EDD currently, and still no VIN), and EDD's don't mean anything...

Same. Apparently Tesla haven't assigned all the cars out yet. I should try and remain positive, but given how many EDD's I've seen since ordering, I'm not holding my breath

because the EDD's we've been given (/pinning our hopes on) are being dashed at every/any opportunity. Tbh I personally wouldn't care what EDD they gave me if it was even remotely accurate. They may as well not give us one if they're just plucking dates out of thin air

Tbh EDD's can't even be reliably used for guidance. Mine's changed dramatically over the lifetime of my order, and I have no faith that dates given are even vaguely accurate. They may as well be pulling dates out of a hat by this point
