Thanks. It looks like different timelines for different states. For these recent WA ones it is 2 weeks between SMS to pickup. And for Adelaide, it may depends on where the cars are being dropped off. Apparently, ships are now stopping at Port Adelaide, like the Freedom Ace did this week.

yes, the large difference in price is mainly for P models. RWD price is almost same. AUD63.1k (USD44k) in US vs AUD63.9k in AU. news headlines only states worst case scenario. new USD prices

the new price gets them eligible for USD7500 credit from US Gov. Actual price before credit is AUD77k for M3P. I know, still less than AU price, but some blame has to go to AU Gov. also a small factor is order backlog reduced in US from over 150k to less than 50k in last 1 year.

The SA at the test drive in May 2022 said my car will be built in Jan 2023. Only few weeks early. SA's generally don't have much factual knowledge they say, but some experienced SA can have some clue. :)

my trade in offer from May 2022 has been honoured last week. They seem to account for the wait time and average milage during that time, hence their original trade in offer may seem low. i.e. in my case, the wait time was 9-12 months. They were estimating trade in price at the end of 9-12...

my OD is 2/5. Price I will pay is still lower than new price after today' price drop. not by much, but still the new price for M3 RWD is higher than the max eligibility limit for SA EV rebate incentive.

EDD getting disappeared is not a new occurrence. most of the time in the past it was due to their system update. hoping your EDD comes back to 12/1-2/2 (which is earlier than mine 28/1-18/2). mine was a generic 9-12 months until this morning. have you got a VIN (even if hidden in source code?)

Got vision prompt overnight. EDD changed from 9-12 months to 28 Jan to 18 Feb. Hidden VIN found using chrome extension. Spreadsheet updated. Adelaide. Other details are in signature and profile pic. Next step in the account is payment. Invoice still to come I guess. 249 days from OD to VIN...

someone at Tesla playing with the EDD again. mine changed from 9-12 months to "TBD - Delivery timing will be available soon" overnight. whatever that means. I am hesitant to take this serious since last time they changed my EDD to Dec-Jan before changing it back to 9-12 months.

for me, I didn't chase them. considering my OD is May 2022, I was not expecting any update this year. got a bit surprised (and a little excited) when I got email today for refreshed odometer reading. boarding on to FFS Tesla again.
