I've done exactly this a few times and it is rather scary. On other news, the wipers are completely broken. Going super fast when it is very light drizzle, then stopping when it gets heavy. Hoping for a fix on that too.

Software finally updated 2 days ago with the Holiday Update (new Model 3 Highland so delay in getting the first software update, apparently). The door lock chime changes work through boombox (i have the windows shutdown sound on the usb - I quite like it for now). And the heat mapping is working...

I noticed the time on the Tesla clock was 1 minute slower than the iPhones we had in the car. odd. And, no holiday update yet. But had a play around with the Boombox. Whilst the sound isn't the best quality, I was playing iTunes through it quite loudly, probably to my neighbours' chagrin :)

Windscreen wipers were a bit erratic in the rain yesterday. Not going when rain was falling, then going fast when rain was light. Nevertheless, this is the smoothest and quietest and most enjoyable car I’ve ever driven. What a joy! Oh, and I don’t have the holiday update. Anyone got theirs yet?

I have boombox in the M3H. What is PWS? The boombox has “horn” for lock, but it’s greyed out. Wonder if it will be activated with some additional sounds uploaded.

Tesla was quick to reply - said software updates take time to reach each car, and to wait. Yep. Thanks :) In other news, you can change the custom lock sound from a horn to something else. Here are some ready-to-download sounds you can upload into the car once the Holiday update arrives...

I’ll check next time I go for a drive. One other thing I noticed. The charging mats now in the MYP didn’t charge my phone through my quad lock phone case. The new M3H does. So charging mat has been upgraded. Yay!

Tip: that rear display gets very hot after a while on - it looks like it is set to 100% brightness. Go into its settings, and change brightness down. Doesn’t look like you can turn it off completely. The mirror dip - I like it. We used it a lot in Europe for reverse parking next to a kerb...

Some interesting news on Adaptive Headlights. I know the cars have had the capability but it hasn’t been activated. Might get activated on the Highland first. I’m happy to try it out 😁🙋‍♂️

Mine was 11 Jan to 1 Feb until I got my text for express delivery. It may have helped I was messaging Tesla quite a bit saying I was tracking the BA and was organising the finance etc.
