^ Absolutely this. The car dialing amperage down is not reliable. I charge mine off a dryer circuit with a Splitvolt and 14-30 adapter from Tesla which automatically dials down to 24amps.

I purchased a MYP from existing inventory and had to create a separate order before they sold out. They pushed back delivery of said MYP until after the LR had VIN assigned/scheduled delivery.

I ordered a MYP separately from existing inventory since they were going fast. By the time my SA responded all of them were already gone. But at this point you can definitely have them upgrade your order since there’s not as much of a rush, just text your SA.

You could hedge by placing an order for the MYP and hold both to see what EDDs look like. Worst case you're out $250. I was able to find one in stock in in the Bay so I snagged it this AM as soon as I read the news.

I just purchased a MYP in stock. Will hold the LR reservation for now to see where prices go. I believe they prioritize MYP orders, people were getting EDDs within 1-2 weeks of ordering.

I’ve used conduit plugs (from Home Depot) in previous cars that actually turned out really well. They’re made of metal and you can customize to whatever finish/logo sticker you want, just measure the size beforehand.

Be aware they changed their household income cap from $300k to $200k...I didn't realize this until I looked on their website today.

That looks like the radar detecting objects. They covered the front camera and still detected front objects.

Some people are anxiously waiting for their cars...their system doesn't allow you to choose and hold a spot for months. I'd say forfeit your spot and give it to someone who actually wants the car...
