What happens if you don't complete your pre-delivery tasks?

I ordered MY after price drop. Got too excited, but realized I don't need it at the moment. It could be several months before I need the car. I put on hold once, it's off hold and I haven't done anything and it is just sitting there with no EDD. I am good with it just sitting there as I like to wait. Is this because I haven't completed pre-delivery tasks?

I believe that reservations fees now are not refundable.
You will certainly receive a request for making your order.
Otherwise your reservation might be cancelled.

They will send you a warning giving you a few days to complete your tasks, or they will cancel the order and keep the order fee.

Already got another VIN assigned within 5 days coming off hold. What the hack. I want to wait. EDD Feb 9-18.

I see people on the forums waiting for VIN and some EDD into March.

Some people are anxiously waiting for their cars...their system doesn't allow you to choose and hold a spot for months. I'd say forfeit your spot and give it to someone who actually wants the car...
