Tesla is expecting a large number of leased vehicles to return to Tesla in the next 6-9 months. It's not a good time for Tesla to update the car significantly now to cause these cars to depreciate too much.

Wondering what's your opinion on this: While outside temperature is below freezing, would charging the car to 95% or higher cause permanent damage to the battery like it's in hot weather? I want to do this in order to compensate for the increased electricity consumption during the cold weather.

I don't have a home charger and have left the car unplugged for 3-4 weeks at a time. The lost were well below 10% but I did refrained from opening the app and waking up the car.

The Tesla phone app is not improving much. I want to open and close windows from the app for the summer months and to be able to schedule charging from the app. Better yet, transmit photos from the front facing camera when charging is interrupted :)

Reminds me of Tesla hoping the cars to last a million miles. The more upgrades that are retrofittable, the fewer versions of components they have to maintain when the older car needs repair.

@green1, the display settings were meant to be discrete and catch less attention while I sleep, as there is no settings to turn off the display while I'm inside.

I had to take a nap in my car recently and wanted to find the best settings which will reserve the most energy while I sleep. I already have a driver profile called "Sleep", which moves the chair rearward to create more legroom. It also flattens the back and tilt the steering wheel up a bit...

If the information came from a Tesla sales associate, then it's pretty much a given. The same thing happened to me back in August. Glad I put down a deposit right away to lock down the price. Saved me thousands of dollars.
