Same question here. We don't have Dashcam capability, right? My car was manufactured on March 26, 2017, but as of FW 2019.12.1, I have Sentry mode. Should I try formatting a USB, adding the TeslaCam folder, and seeing if it will record? That hasn't worked before.

I just got 2019.12.1 too. However, in my case, I now have Sentry Mode. My Model X75D was manufactured on March 26, 2017 and has Autopilot 2.0, not 2.5. So I don't have Dashcam. Does this mean that I don't have access to the Sentry recordings either?

It is very frustrating. I carefully lock the doors and walk quickly away from the car, only to have someone text me and tell me that my doors are open and the rain is coming into my car. I cannot be the only one that has this problem.

Definitely like the heated steering wheel, now that I know how to turn it on. I kept looking for the control where it was on the Mercedes S500, on the left stalk. But that turns on the wipers on the Tesla Model X. I never thought you had to crawl through screen menus.

Wow. I lived in Sweden for 10 years and cannot remember this problem. Below -8C, my windows used to freeze shut, and it once got down to -26C. But I don't remember the wipers freezing in place. I wonder what the back story is behind this.

How does that work? Running your wipers over an iced windscreen is a sure way to destroy your wipers. I usually use a scraper and warm up the windshield first.

OK, I found it. Really hidden. You have to choose Controls from the touchscreen menu, then Cold Weather. Then there is a really small icon that looks like a steering wheel. What about the icon next to that? It looks like a windshield with a wiper on it and some heat waves? What does that do?

I just use TomTom where there is no cell coverage, which is most of Oregon. Google maps when you need to enter a destination's GPS coordinates and there is a mobile signal.
