I am guessing this process goes much smoother if you trade-in rather than just remove FUSC from existing car and sell it elsewhere. If Tesla had in my case not given me a quote $4k less than I sold to Carvana, I would have preferred just to trade it in to keep everything simpler.

I had to reprogram it for both garage doors after I got the MCU 2 18 months or so ago, and I believe I just hit the "Continue" button and it went to the other way you describe of just standing in front with door opener.

On my 2016 Facelift Model S, both headlights needed replaced (Under ESA) in May of last year. They installed the "F" version, and a year latter--so far so good, with fingers still crossed.

I keep seeing people make posts as if this only effect 85 kWh batteries. As I previously said,my 75 kWh battery in my July 2016 build Model S has the exact same issues. Surely, I am not the only 75 kWh battery owner who has this issue??

It goes beyond those years I do believe. Mine is a 2016.5 Model S VIN 147xxx 75kWh. I had 250 mile range. Dropped suddenly to 233. After the .31 update I was back up to 240. Or at least that's what it claims.
