Has anyone actually successfully received 6 years of Supercharging for removing from existing vehicle/

After several communications with Tesla and the 10 day efforts of one very kind and helpful customer service representativ—-finally had the six years of free supercharging applied to my new car.

Has anyone actually successfully received 6 years of Supercharging for removing from existing vehicle/

Yes, I filled out that same waiver. BTW, dont miss the fact that you must still own the old car at time of delivery of the new car to qualify. Still haven’t got my 6 years, but Tesla said I should in a couple of days and yesterday my three years of FUSC disappeared, the optimist in me hopes...

Referral increase for X and S to 20,000 credits

Yes, I was--so thats probably the issue. You, think one of the several people from Tesla would have known that--well--not really! :)

Referral increase for X and S to 20,000 credits

No one from Tesal has yet given me that information. Thanks for the replies--typical Tesla fine details not clearly spelled out. I love them, purchased my first Model S in 2016, and am responsible for three other friends buy--but the communications from them is all too horrific.

Has anyone actually successfully received 6 years of Supercharging for removing from existing vehicle/

I am guessing this process goes much smoother if you trade-in rather than just remove FUSC from existing car and sell it elsewhere. If Tesla had in my case not given me a quote $4k less than I sold to Carvana, I would have preferred just to trade it in to keep everything simpler.

Has anyone actually successfully received 6 years of Supercharging for removing from existing vehicle/

I am in the exact same boat as you. Spoke with Tesla on both Friday and today and got the same result, "let me speak with a colleague and get back with you". thus far crickets....

Has anyone actually successfully received 6 years of Supercharging for removing from existing vehicle/

I communicated with Tesla and turned in the proper paperwork to receive 6 years of FUSC by removing from my existing Model S. I took delivery of my 2023 Model S on Wednesday (June 21) and although the vehicle did come with the 3 years that all Model S users are currently receiving, but did not...

Referral increase for X and S to 20,000 credits

Has anyone actually received the 20,000 points for making a referral with the latest program. Two weeks ago a friend made a referral to me and I did receive the $1,000 discount but he did not receive any notice of my referral. My Tesla sales rep said, oh he will receive upon delivery. I took...

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

Exactly--it is a failed design that should have been stopped or manufacturing process changed long ago, and of course since this is clearly a manufacturer defect--they should certainly "do the right thing"especially since I spent $4,300 on the damn extended warranty! They offer a $200 discount...

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

Luckily for you the random wheel of Tesla service landed on "Take care of the customer" today, at the Indianapolis center--the wheel has landed on "Tough luck for you"

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

So my car is in service now with the passenger side with the yellow dimming. Tesla is refusing to replace under the extended warranty. Ironically, they bother were previously replaced under that same warranty when the technician that was working on another issue pointed them out to me. I had...

    Cannot Read Release Notes

It’s not quite the same. When the notes show in the MCU as it is supposed to, it shows only the features that actually apply to your specific car. As a owner of a 2016.5 (Facelift Model) but with AP1, no side cameras—but with upgraded MCU2 w Atom processor. Its Hard to know what features are...

Setting up Homelink after MCU2 Upgrade ??

I had to reprogram it for both garage doors after I got the MCU 2 18 months or so ago, and I believe I just hit the "Continue" button and it went to the other way you describe of just standing in front with door opener.

    Cannot Read Release Notes

Same thing fo my AP1 MCU2, its annoying and has been doing this for a couple of months. Just white screen with spinning circle.

    Spotify Daily Mix not updating

Same problem, I added Spotify Premium account two months ago, the "Daily Playlists" are the same lists as they were on day one. Really frustrating. I will try re-booting the car, but of course you should not have to do that.

Parked my car at the airport…

I recently left my 2016 Model S 75 facelift but with AP1 for two weeks at airport. It loss about 3 miles of range a day. I did make sure to turn off pre-conditioning--did you remember to do that?

    U-Joint Problems

My 2016 75D w/Facelift with 62k miles, had the exact same symptoms. Tesla replaced the "Steering I-Shaft Link Lower (1060802-00-B) under my ESA.

To MCU2 or not to MCU2?

I had the same debate in my head for a few months. I upgraded two months ago and am VERY happy I did. Even with the fact that the tech broke a piece of trim, and the part is still on order.

Salvage Model S P85D Contactors Not Closing

Ditto! Very interesting, as rooter has warned well beyond most of our comfort and skill level to safely do--but congrats on being successful. After you get to spend more time with the car please update once again letting us know your experience.

Recent fire another reason all controls on screen are a bad idea!

I watched the video, and I can say in my opinion there was not much of a point to it, but I can also say it was impressive to see how many hits from a sledge hammer it took before it broke. Obviously not full and hard swings--but I would have thougt just a tap from a sledge hammer would smash it.

    Tesla Customer Service

I too have had nothing but positive experiences with both the local Service Center in Indy and their Ranger service. My only complaint is that it is IMPOSSIBLE to call and get anyone on the phone--180 degree difference from when I took delivery in July of 2016. But again, the service center...

2020 Model SP: metallic coating on windshield?

My 2016.5 (First facelift generation) has the metallic coating and cutout--not sure when they moved away from that--but some time after July 2016 when mine was manufactured.

Poll: Extended Service Agreement Poll- good idea?

I debated this a lot last year. I bought the four year plan, have since had two door handles replaced--and replaced with the updated version. Both headlights replaced because part of the LED strips went out--again it was an updated part number. The LED ring where you plug the charger into, some...

No more radar means the car cannot see through fog?

In my 2016.5 Model S with AP 1, I am certain of one thing, the radar--not the camera saved me from an accident. I was driving down a dived road with Autopilot when my car started alerting and breaking hard for no apparent reason, just about the time I was ready to take over and stomp on the...

    Unable to login Youtube

The same thing happened to me this evening. After trying several times at home with no success Friday and Saturda, I stopped by a Tesla charger and tried to log into YouTube again, and this time it let me. Don’t know if it was because I was on Tesla’s cellular connection and not WiFi or just a...

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

This was my experience also, completely symmetrical. Both headlights LED surrounds, look like "J's" and I thinking having been a Jaguar owner for years prior to buying the Tesla, I got accustomed to seeing "J's" everywhere! LOL! I never noticed a problem, it was actually the Tesla ranger who...

Late 2016 / Early 2017 S Owners: How Are Your Daytime Running Lights Holding Up?

On my 2016 Facelift Model S, both headlights needed replaced (Under ESA) in May of last year. They installed the "F" version, and a year latter--so far so good, with fingers still crossed.

Can you identify this noise from my 2016.5 Model S

Can you identify this noise from my 2016.5 Model S? It happens only at the start of the day, after I turn off of my road and accelerate moderately heavily. The sound is definitely from the front and seems to be on drivers side. I do have an appointment to take to Tesla next week, but it would...

NHTSA asks Tesla to recall 158,000 [now 135,000] vehicles for eMMC failure. Voluntary Recall issued

I received the same email, oddly my 75D 2016.5 Model S shows "No recalls" when I enter my VIN at either Tesla or the NHTSA website. Also, if they had long ago offered the software improvements in 2020.48.12.1 that ensures turn signals , back up camera and climate controls work as they now...

    Is my MS corked?

So I believe you may be talking about a performance boost that era of non-performance MS received, it was commonly indeed referred to as being "uncorked." If your fully charged MS with a warm battery under good conditions can do a 0-60 in approximately 4.2-4.5 seconds, then you vehicle has...

Wiki Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software

I keep seeing people make posts as if this only effect 85 kWh batteries. As I previously said,my 75 kWh battery in my July 2016 build Model S has the exact same issues. Surely, I am not the only 75 kWh battery owner who has this issue??

Wiki Sudden Loss Of Range With 2019.16.x Software

It goes beyond those years I do believe. Mine is a 2016.5 Model S VIN 147xxx 75kWh. I had 250 mile range. Dropped suddenly to 233. After the .31 update I was back up to 240. Or at least that's what it claims.

Life and work have had me busy, so I cannot believe that in my few visits here in over the last few months, I have not seen this thread. What I have done in that time is taken my car into Tesla twice complaining about sounded lost of range and slowness while supercharging, and never did they...
