Has anyone attempted to take apart the headlights and repair them? I see threads with older headlights being taken apart and painted black and upgrading components but nothing on these current headlights. I mean someone has to have made an attempt right?

I'm surprised the older motors dont get the one pedal driving? Any one know why the permanent magnet motors can but the old inductions wont ?

Yeh it's a thing. They showed me the part afterwards. Definitely behind the MCU. It's the same part they do to retrofit 3G to LTE. They said out of warranty it would cost me $500, same as the upgrade would cost if I had an older gen Tesla.

Yes I would definitely say so. It was noisier and the build quality on the interior panels wasn't as good at my mid 2017 build. Lots of rattles. I also upgraded to 21" wheels recently so I cant blame it on the larger wheels.

Keep in mind the P85D has a sport mode (3.9 sec ish), an insane mode (3.1 sec) and ludicrous mode (also extra 5k if you were an existing owner down to 2.8 sec) So those numbers are a tad skewed. BUT... it would put a 75D along side a standard P85. Very close.

Any 75d produced after July 1st already is uncorked from the factory. Uncorking is now officially available for pre July 1st cars... which is why we are so excited.

I don't think it's unfair. The factory 75D was "restricted" while the 90s were already unrestricted. After testing, Tesla realized they could pull back the restriction without damage to the drivetrain and battery. What about the price difference between the 75d and the 90d? -...

Thanks guys. For the last 7 months I've owned the car I've casually walked up in the morning, one push of the button and i hear the car click on, I get a white light and the lock disengages. Weird that now I have to hold the button but I'm totally ok with that. Easy fix.

Ok. It sounds like I am eligible! I called the service center everyone recommended and they told me my VIN is eligible . My service center just needs updated information!
