Is that related to waking up of the car? i read from other websites that the Tesla server only communicates with the original SIM to wake up any particular Tesla So you can get a UK version firmware update OTA? that would be great. my worry was any OTA update bring us back to HK version...

i forgot to update this some time after my last reply i managed to buy the ESA and i got my MCU screen fixed under ESA they removed the requirement on annual servicing as well. no idea why, it just became optional for us

forgot to come back to update my case i think they restructured the workflow in service centre, it was real quick, one day and got the car back. they changed the display only, with better resolution than the old one

So they just repair everything free of charge like they did in HK?
