The recording teslacam/sentry mode is a HW25+ feature. My september 2017 HW25/MCU1 records just fine in both modes.

As a Canadian X75D owner I can confirm that I've hit 128kw on occasions and that my pack part number is the real 75kwh/350v pack. It is also worth nothing that the new 85kwh pack is listed as "ASY-HV BATTERY,85KWH,SX" wich included S and X models. Since there no 85kwh Model X it could be that...

But the VIN# in TeslaFI gives us enough information without the specific MCU/AP versions. MCU1 (and consequently AP2.0) seem to have been forgotten for xmas. We've been too naughty...

If you look at the serial numbers in TeslaFi, I think you will see that they are almost all above the MCU1/MCU2 cutoff serials for S & X. mid/Late 080000 for X. The smallest serial I have seen for an X is 088xxx I think.

MCU1/AP25 (FSD computer pending) and I don't have any updates yet. I think it is mostly MCU1 and unrelated to AP. It's hard to reconcile Elon on twitter saying that an MCU2 upgrade is not worth it with the ever decreasing features that will make it to MCU1 and situations like the current one...

So...I confirm that my September 2017 X75D had the same problem described in the first post. I followed the procedure and placed the red wire in its place and everything is fine now. Just want to add a small detail... September 2017 is around the time where the tow package became standard...

I try to take good care of my X75D battery. Because of some of my trips, when I charge to 100%, I drive it in the following 30 minutes and when I go bellow 5%-10% I charge it immediately after. I never let it sit at either extremes. About 2 monts ago, my X was at the SC to replace the heating...

It is indeed the brake controller harness but the brake controller is a separate unit and comes with its own harness. You have to map and pair the two harnesses according to their specifications. I use a tekonsha P3. There is also some already made pigtail cables but I don't if Tesla's plus...

I like what I'm reading... I'm guessing that the software was properly updated to support the 'B' sensors and that passed 50.3 it didn't expect the 'A' sensors in a vehicle that was born with 'B' sensors. Could be a variation over that theme also. My service experience has also been good...

I can also confirm that it's working very well with snow so far. Since it's using the camera(s), as long as that little area is clean, nothing is happening from what I can see. So if there's a snow smear all across the driver's window, the wipers won't start. I haven't encountered that...

Been idling for 14 hours now. No settings combination that I've tried is working. It is usually not that bad. It is very cold outside so I'm not sure if it's related. Also, I still haven't had any upgrade notification so far. Earlier I meant version 50.3 but I wrote .53, sorry for that...

My X has been idling for more than 6 hours. I'm not using the app or anything to access it. Password has been changed recently. Tried 2 minutes polling instead of one and also 20 minutes idle instead of 15 with no difference.

@AdamHLG I'm in the same situation. I've talked about it with James from Teslafi but I haven't had any reply to my last email and since it's the holiday period, I think it's normal. Disabling the teslafi sleep mode may help as my car only slept during those hours and now it 'seem' to sleep...

I have a model X75D with HW2.5. There are some national roads that I drive on for hundreds of kilometers that are not recognized by internal navigation and AP is limited to 70km/h (45mph) even if they are 90kmh (55mph) roads. I cross dozens of speed limit signs that are clearly visible and...

Mine does that when obstacles are too close to the doors even if they open normally.

That is the exact error message I was getting before. They changed my sensors and updated the software to 17.44 but no OTA updates were published since. I don't know if everything is ok.

I noticed a few times that mine are not working as well. My setting is always in 'Auto' and my lever is always pushed to the front. Normally I can see the lights icon with an 'A' inside being gray or blue but sometimes I just see the low beam/fog icons and nothing else even in total darkness...

In reply to my own post, I just got confirmation that this issue is indeed software related and that second generation cladding sensors, found in very recent model Xs, seems to be incompatible with the current firmware. My SC contact told me that for now, they are installing first generation...

So...I left my X at the Montréal service center last week before leaving for Iceland. They were kind enough to bring me to the airport and also get me back yesterday when I came back from Reykjavik. On the service invoice I can see that the 'cladding sensor' in the driver's door was defective...

That's interesting... My X is at the SC to have both door sensor changed to fix the problem. If what you say is true, this will not fix it. I do remember that my firmware was upgraded at the SC around delivery so at that point, both explanations could be true. We'll see tomorrow...

Anyone from Canada with updates on this issue? I took delivery of my non-PUP X on 9/29 and it doesn't have adaptive lightning (that I can see). The Montréal SC guy I spoke to doesn't seem to be aware of the issue. I gave him a link to this tread and I'm waiting for an update. Thanks. JF.

So...The information I got from the log data is that a bad sensor in a door is preventing the updates from completing. Will have to go to SC to get it fixed. Thanks for all your comments. JF

ohhh, that interesting...My phone is not connected but I do have a USB stick with some music (and maybe some files) on it in on of the ports. I also have a 12V usb fast charger in the cigarette lighter plug. I will go remove both immediately and by 'soft reboot' you mean rebooting the center...
