We’re in agreement. I was just noting that it WILL roll to a complete stop, on a flat road given enough room. I think regen braking tapers off at lower speeds.

The car will come to a complete stop with creep turned off, just maybe not quick enough to be useful. It will actually start rolling back as if in neutral if you attempt it on a hill.

Same thing happened to me while driving the car home. It’s odd that you can manually direct airflow but not close the vents. The on screen icon is also really poorly designed.

Have you tried popping off your covers and reinstalling? I did that on mine to check for captured rocks. There weren’t any, but my crunching sound went away. I’m guessing the rim of the covers were rubbing the wheel.

These responses are crazy! This is maybe a 1/16” indent in soft rubber from the windows pressing on them.

Mine is similar. The indent matches where the window edge sits when opening and closing the doors. I wouldn’t have noticed it if I wasn’t looking for it due to this thread though.

I received the same email and had the same concerns. I asked the delivery specialist if it was ok to bring a personalized check or if I needed a certified check and they said not to bother going to the bank. They were very accommodating (in fact, the employees almost seemed more excited for me...

I did the same thing. They asked me to give my bank a heads up so they didn’t put a stop hold on such a large check but otherwise it was no problem.

Checked all four hubcaps and calipers this morning. It's definitely NOT pebbles or stones.

Ours started making this noise today as well. Too late to check the hubcaps but that sounds pretty likely.

This is on the nose. Tesla got so much right that the missing features stick out a lot more, especially when the hardware is in place. I believe it’s just a matter of the software catching up which I’m confident is just a matter of time.

They didn’t spend a lot of time on the exterior paint either ;) but seeing how this thread is going there’s no way I’m going to get into that! Regardless, I figured there would be a few signs of cost cutting or growing pains and yet there’s still no other car on the market that I would rather own.

As suggested I've uploaded a annotated photo to point out the areas I'm talking about. I'm not worried about corrosion (it's primered) or hood liners, I was just curious if that's how other folk's Model 3's are. If not, I'll have Tesla make it right and if so, I'll probably hit those areas with...

One more thing, the lady at the delivery center in Portland said they’re delivering around 7-10 Model 3s per day now.

I don’t recall the exact date, but it was a couple of days after receiving the invite as we were on vacation at the time.

I forgot to mention that I originally got the email pushing back my delivery till July. 4 days later, and after seeing a truckload of Model 3s on the freeway, I got a call telling me it would be ready in 2 days. There is no rhyme or reason as far as I can tell.

Took delivery today, although the car was actually ready last Friday. Good luck to everyone still waiting, it'll be worth it :)

Just picked up our Model 3 tonight and overall fit and finish is much better than some of the stories here with one exception. The inside of the frunk hood is clearly missing paint and I was wondering if this is common.
