I would simply change out the breaker to a 60 amp. You already have the correct gauge wire - #6. Also, not sure if your Tesla wall connector will run at 48 amps with a 50 amp breaker. In any case, if you want to crank it up to 48 amps, be safe and follow the specs.

Yep. Just ordered a gloss black. So happy Tesla did this. Now I will be able to do power sharing without having to do separate 60 amp circuits for each connector.

To be clear, once Tesla enabled load sharing for the gen 3 connectors, would I be able to do load sharing between the two wall connectors that are wired from the two panels (one from my main panel and one from my 100 amp sub panel)?

Don’t everyone jump on me at once. I would definitely go with the Tesla Wall Connector. It not only charges at the fastest rate possible at home (44 miles for each hour of charge time for the he LR Model 3), but it just looks cool. NEMA 14-50 is tacky for me. Just my opinion, and I certainly...
