1600 for a head light?

One of my headlights needs replacing and Tesla is telling me it's going to cost $1600!!! That can't be right can it? The non-working headlamp is causing other electrical issues like my left side camera going black intermittently and my windshield wipers not working.

Is there a way to dramatically reduce the cost?

Considering we are in the Model S forum I'm sure it's safe to say its not a 3/Y. Year TBD.

Depending on which year you have, the new Model S headlights are very complex. I am not surprised it will cost that much — it's not surprising.
