I have a model X 90D 2016 and due to heavy rains in South Florida last week it displayed error messages such as: "service required car may not start", HV battery error, etc. I went straight to Telsa and after two weeks and 185 cars flooded they gave me an estimate of $20,000 to replace the HV battery. What should i do? Ask my insurance to send an adjuster? Go to an EV shop to try to fix it for cheaper? Leave it and buy a model Y?
Telsa says water entered the battery casing and that's not under warranty. What should I do? Please help
