I think that the newer S60's had the software limited pack...Which I im pretty sure were the 16' and 17' model year's.

If memory serves, I think it was in early '16 around the time the Model 3 was announced. The thinking seemed to be to try to siphon off some Model 3 reservations into an S. They only offered them for a short time -- maybe a year or so. Anything before that will be a true 60.

I wonder if a CARFAX would show the battery change and other repair issues?

Mine had 92k when i bought it, lady on phone from Fremont told me it had had no major issues, and it had been serviced .
I am very lucky, nothing has broken except right rear door gear.
I am at 110k now. Love it.
